Need a DUI lawyer? HIRE them and relax as you are in good hands. Matthew Cohen is an AMAZING lawyer and I am thankful that I decided to go with him as the lawyer to represent me for my DUI case. I am in Australia right now and had a pending DUI case in the US. After doing my research, I wrote an email to Matthew giving him as much details as I could as the matter happened in 2011. I was impressed with the response time I had from Matthew who responded to my emails within minutes despite the huge time difference in time between Australia and the US. Matthew clearly explained all the aspects of the laws, the potential legal penalties and fines I was looking at, the next course of action and the steps he will take. He was patient and never for once got frustrated or irritated with my questions. One major concern for everyone is the legal fees. The firm was very flexible and offered various payment plans and options. They worked around my financial situation. Attorneys should make you feel like they have your back and help you with an already stressful situation when it comes to car accidents but when it comes to this firm I first hand had to suffer to learn my lesson so now I’m expressing what I learned they have a 90 day rule which if your case doesn’t settle in that amount of time your percentage on what they charge goes from 33.3% to 40% not only do they mess with your money but is more of a factory type of business they don’t see your case as important or meaningful they only push out the case and settle for whichever amount is thrown to them only so they could keep having money rolling in the company compared to other attorneys who will fight and do everything possible to earn what you actually deserve. But if money is still not a big thing with you these attorney will not answer your calls even when it’s important information about your case and also hang up on you when they decide they don’t want to help anymore so I urge you please choose another attorney office believe me you’ll thank me for this information i wish I would have known before hiring this firm.
