I have a lot of respect and gratefulness for Mr. Hart Levin, words cannot explain what a great attorney he is. Im so thankful I met him. He is an exceptional lawyer, truly the best! Back in 2014 I was convicted of a dui. The court gave me three years of probation but, due to my immigration process I needed to get it expunged as soon as possible. I consulted many lawyers before but, they all told me that it was impossible that the court would grant me an early termination of probation before March of 2017. Unfortunately most lawyers won't try to go the extra mile for their clients. However, Hart Levin made it happen, his great experience, determination and positive attitude towards my case helped me achieve my goal.Since the beginning he was always very supportive answering to all my questions and his great confidence gave me hope. Besides, his sincere sympathy for his client's situation difference him from the rest. Today April of 2016 I received the greatest news when he told me that the court gave me the approval for the early termination of probation! I am very happy, I feel like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders and now I can go on with my life. I recommend Hart Levin to everyone that is going through a dui process. When looking for an attorney to represent a family member, I found a website that proposed several different attorneys that were qualified to handle the type of case we had. I prefer not to go into details on a public site, but let's just say it was something beyond a DUI. Hart was the first person I interviewed. After spending almost the entire day interviewing attorneys, I decided to hire Hart Levin based on his prior experience, knowledge from the prosecution side of things and overall a gut feeling that he would be the best choice. Hart and his team really came through for me. He stayed with my case for over 18 months as the DA was changed several times and the officer would not show up. We ended up pleading to a lesser charge and got dropped to a wet reckless on a high BAC arrest. He knows the system and the people involved to get results. I am so grateful for Hart Levin! He was my lawyer on a DUI case in 2012. My BAC was extremely high but Hart got me out of this with just a minor fine. Today, even though the case closed over 2 years, Hart continues to bend over backwards to help me at no cost with matters related to this DUI. For example, I just went through an employer background screening this week and the report issued by the background agency mistakenly indicated that I had served some time in jail for this offense. The employer now wants me to provide them with additional paper work to support that I only received a fine and did not serve any time in jail. I emailed Hart in a panic. He responded within minutes and graciously offered to speak with court employees to retrieve the necessary paper work so I can pass my background check and move forward with this new employer. I am so grateful and relieved to have Hart as my attorney. I may not have gotten this job offer without his help. In August of 2014 I was arrested for DUI. I was working out of state and had no ideal what to do in this situation. I knew I had a problem and I had no ideal how I was going to get through this unwanted legal mess. As a contract engineer, my career is dependent upon my reputation and background. A blemish of this sort can land me in the unemployment line with no future prospects of returning to work. After researching for the absolute best lawyer and reading all of the reviews I decided on the Law Offices of Hart Levin. My initial consultation with Hart was full of brutal honesty. Hart delivered the news as compassionately as only a friend could have done. Honesty,... that was something I was not prepared to hear. He explained the outcome to be expected from this type of case and to prepare for the worst. We developed a strategy to approach the DMV and the criminal cases which were tried separately. It took a few months but I finally put the plug in the jug for good and prepared for the worst. I lost my license and was bracing for the criminal case. The DMV in California always suspends the licenses. If you are arrested, be ready for this to happen as their is nothing that can be done by anyone and it is best if you expect it and accept it. The criminal case had a different outcome. We looked at different circumstances and evidence to be presented in case there needed to be a trial. After a few meetings with the District Attorney, Hart was able to negotiate a reduced charge of "Wet and Wreckless". I did not have to install a breathalyzer, no jail time or community service either. I do have a fine and I have time to pay it. Here it is in a nutshell. I made a mistake and I am damn lucky to have had Hart represent me in my darkest hour. He showed compassion, integrity, and humility. Good luck finding that in a lawyer! If you made a mistake or find yourself in a legal battle, you could do no better that have Hart Levin and his team represent you. I would also like to thank Matthew and Jill for helping me as well. They showed the same diligence, compassion and understanding as Hart did. My best advice to someone with a DUI/DWI is this: 1. Find help to quit your drinking right NOW before you kill yourself or someone else. You have proven to yourself that you are not good at it. 2. Call the Law offices of Hart Levin and tell him the truth about what happened. You cannot do any better than a "super-lawyer" so quit looking. Not being from the area I didn't have any attorney to work with in regards to my accident. I searched on google for an auto accident attorney and Bergener & Associates were the firm I randomly choose. I spoke with an attorney name Brett who was supposed to call me back the same day, which was a Friday.I emailed Brett all the information needed .I did not hear from Brett until the next Thursday and that was because i kept calling everyday. When I did speak with him, he didn't really remember any of the information we had previously spoke about and basically were asking the initial questions again. I cut the conversation short and told him I would take my business else were. I know for a fact any good attorney will take notes or start a file or something. I could tell that in my time of need for an attorney he had little to no interest. Meanwhile the side of my car is smashed from an 18 wheeler. On another note the people that answer phone seem very nice
