I had a complicated case. After consulting with a few attorneys I knew Mr. Chon was the attorney that could handle my case. He did a amazing job and the outcome was better than I hoped.

Attorney David Chon represented me in a very contested and prolonged matter. His service was exemplary. He was knowledgeable about the law and always prepared for meetings and court appearances. He was ready with suggestions for resolution and was compassionate at an incredibly stressful time for me. I have referred several clients to him over the past few years and every one of them has been thankful. I cannot speak highly enough of David and the service he provides.

David is an experienced and capable attorney. He has successfully handled several legal matters for me. The most important of which, was my estate plan that allowed me to retire to my lakeside dream home on Cape Cod. In addition, he handled the probates and trust dispositions of both my parents. David is an extremely knowledgeable and hard working attorney whose primary goal is to get his clients where they need to be. I would certainly use his legal services on any matters that fall under his purview. Because he is so personable and has provided such superb legal service, he has become a very close friend and adviser. As a retired Real Estate Broker and owner of a large Southern California property management firm, I have dealt with many attorneys through the years, David is one of the best.

After meeting for one hour and cashing the $3500 retainer; David proceeded to create a bunch of draft forms. Some of these forms were never used; because of the limited understanding of the case all of them needed heavy redaction. Regardless he charged $2500 the first week and proceeded to pass the case to another lawyer in his group without even mention it to me. I believe this is a tactic that he uses, getting the maximum cash as quickly as possible and letting the other (even more incompetent) lawyers do the work. Legacy provided little guidance and every time that a new lawyer was assigned to my case, it was up to me to explain the new lawyer the case (all at my expense). Even when I complained about the lack of knowledge of the new assigned lawyer, I was charged. I can go on and on. I finally fired them, I was the best decision. In addition, their billing department is horrible, they make mistakes, double charge and they don't listen; to get anything corrected, I have to call the lawyer for them to talk to billing and of course they charged me for that. BOTTOM LINE HORRIBLE LAWYERS, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT $$ STAY AWAY

I worked with David Chon on a complicated out of state probate issue. Not only is he professional and most knowledgeable, but his manner and personal counsel will remain with me long after my case was completed.

David Chon was rude just for asking a question after receiving my money. He never showed in court one time and thanks to him not even acknowledging elder abuse of my dad the perpetrators received $65,000 of my dad's money for starving him to death with no punishment. Bad attorney. Very bad. Thankyou David for nothing but 3 years of hell.

According to my experiences for almost 2 years in having retained him, although ambitious to charge tens of thousands of dollars for redundant work, he was completely disinterested to assist in a timely manner and did absolutely nothing to help resolve any of the issues which were clearly written and provided to him at the time of retainment. His work was non attentive, inefficient and not at all cost effective and he is uncaring and not at all responsive with communication or his promises. He did not keep me informed and although I had consistently payed to remind him of pending concerns and questions, responses were never forthcoming. He had also submitted unacceptable proposals to the opposing counsel without my knowledge or consultation. I truly received more tribulation from having retained David Chon than I did from the people I was suing. After having been consistently exorbitantly charged for his unproductive services, when I finally terminated him, the paperwork was returned in chaos. This review is a warning to others not to be deceived by the illusion of reliability! I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS INCOMPETENT ATTORNEY!

David Chon was informed, friendly and very quick. Dealing with turbulent family and house ownership issues, he was excellent and one of the very few who actually deals in probate litigation.

I have worked with Mr. Chon on several matters. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable about the various legal issues I have presented to him. He is very thorough in his research and explains the issues so that anyone can understand. In addition, he is courteous and very responsive.
