My experience with Anthony and Perleberg McClaren LLP was excellent. Anthony was responsive, knowledgeable, and communicative. He listened to my concerns and recommended a thoughtful approach to negotiating a severance agreement, and we ultimately reached a fair settlement. He was also kind, thoughtful, and considerate throughout the difficult process. I highly recommend Anthony for your legal needs. 

My corporation hired Anthony to help us fight fraudulent employment and workers compensation claims against my company. Anthony and his team of legal staff expertly, efficiently, and masterfully handled our case from start to multiple dismissals! Anthony is a warrior and fighter willing to slug it out in the courtroom ring, and come out victorious. He is prepared, knowledgeable and very skilled to protect your rights and defend your honor in a court of law. Anthony is not the lawyer you think you want, but the lawyer you need to be victorious in any matter! I've worked with Anthony on several occasions and he always finds time to make me feel like the first priority. He helped me through an employment issue with a former company. It was a lengthy process that ultimately concluded in my favor because of him. He is extremely smart, organized and thoughtful. I hired Anthony when I was having some challenges at my job. Mr. McClaren was very responsive to my initial contact requests, and helped me understand my rights as they related to my performance and possible growth strategies, or exit strategies, if necessary. Ultimately, I received a favorable outcome. Mr. McClaren’s knowledge of employment and labor laws was impressive. What was more valuable to me was his ability to emphasize with my circumstances. He understands problems, how to approach them, and if necessary, how to be decisive.

In the search for a new lawyer for my case, I consulted with many attorneys before I chose Mr. McClarren. What stands out about Mr. McClarren, a part from his professional yet friendly demeanor, is his sharpness. The man is not just smart but he is whip smart. My cases had many layers to it, including manner different communications between the defendants and myself that needed to be sifted to and synthesized in other to be understood. He was able to do this within just a couple of days of getting the case. As my case progressed and new information was discovered he continued to interpret the information in a manner that was notably stronger than my previous attorney. I had been considering settling my case, and when I finally did Mr. McClaren was able to settle the case for twice as much as the initial offer. I was more than pleased with my result. When you are looking for a lawyer it is important to find one who you are confident knows more than you. I would recommend Mr. McClarren first among a selection of many other lawyers. If you're seeking a lawyer don't labor yourself with talking to many other attorneys. I am confident that few other attorneys are as sharp on the subject of labor as Mr. McClarren.

I own businesses in a high liability industry and have had to deal with dozens of attorneys over the last 10 years or so and equally as many lawsuits. I had been using one of Anthony's partners, Greg Perleberg, for all of our trademarks for a number of years. Greg is legitimately the best trademark attorney I have ever come across and it's unbelievable what he can do through his relationships and understanding of the system. When we found ourselves being sued, Greg referred me to Anthony and said he was an incredibly good litigation attorney and would take care of us. As we started working on the case together it was very casual and we had limited interactions. As we began to approach the the arbitration date and started to lean into the prep work, his professionalism began to show. He was organized, punctual, and spent a TON of time getting me prepped. Being completely honest, I did feel like he had just a bit of a cavalier attitude going into the last couple weeks. He continued to reassure me anytime I raised questions or concerns, which happened frequently, that he had it under control. I seriously felt like we had a couple blind spots and was nervous. I would like to also point out that Anthony voluntarily got on a plane from LA and flew up to Seattle for this without hammering me on travel times and the like. He could have pushed the arbitrator for a video arbitration but it wasn't even a question for him, he just did it. Additionally, the date of arbitration was 6-17-20 which, need I remind you, was in the middle of a global pandemic and a portion of Seattle had literally been taken over by protestors. If you were watching national news it looked like the city was burning to the ground. When Anthony arrived, we met at his hotel for a quick once over of the materials and to go walk the court house to ensure we had routes to and from the arbitration room, where we were going to meet, where we were going to sit, etc all mapped out (impressive). During the final prep I was still a little nervous that we just didn't have all our ducks in a row. There was a statement made that I will never forget when I told him I was going to use my laptop for exhibit review. He looked to me and said very directly, no you are going to use this notebook, I've got it all mapped out, just stick to the script. For whatever reason, I just felt a little concerned, he just seemed too casual about everything. 5 minutes in, away goes any concern about lack of preparation. This guy is literally built for this and his performance during the first day of was exceptional. He was precise, direct, and got the point across while dealing with technical terminology for our business that I know for a fact he previously knew nothing about. He flew through the exhibit book (now I knew why we were sticking to it) in a way that literally made opposing counsels head spin and Im fairly sure the plaintiff's witnesses immediately began to regret their choice about suing us. Unfortunately, opposing counsel was incredibly disorganized and ultimately caused the arbitration to go another day via Zoom call giving opposing counsel another pass at me. During the Zoom call opposing counsel hammered me and I was pissed. Well, I was pissed until it came time for closing arguments. Their attorney went and it was terrible. Quick, disorganized, and not effective. It was now Anthony's turn and I became very aware of where he truly stands out. Anthony's closing statement literally was the best 30 minutes of my professional career. He absolutely decimated their case and he did it in a professional respectful way. The only thing I am disappointed about is that I dont have a video recording of it to watch anytime I get down because it was truly amazing. He followed up with a thank you call and it was the first time in my life that I have ever felt I got my moneys worth out of an attorney.

Having the benefit of hindsight I now don't think Mr McClaren was worth the money. The result of my case was not good and I don't think he had much influence as he could have had if he put more effort into the case. In the end I am certain that more could have been done to save my job but he was not interested or let's say talented enough to make the needed impact on the clowns that wanted me fired. Too bad. If we had gone the extra mile the case would have gone the other way. In the end the money I paid McClaren was a waste.

I really cannot give a substantive review on Anthony this early. However, I find him as very sharp and perceptive and has the patience to explain the pros and cons of available options for me to have informed decision/s.

The reason I chose him was that , from the start, he impressed me as intelligent, knowledgable, straight shooter, and capable attorney. My initial impression proved to be correct. Anthony handled the case in a very professional manner. He quickly analyzed the facts, the pros and cons and provided advise to help me understand our options for a satisfactory resolution of the case.
