We reached out to Pevney Estate Planning to discuss about my mom's estate planning strategy. The beginning of the meeting, Atty.Pevney discussed what this meeting entails and the boundaries of who would be the real client which is my mom, the attorney-client relationship, and formal permission from my mom if she authorize my presence for this discussion. He asked the details of what is our main objective for creating an estate plan, family background, and assets that will be added to this trust if we ever proceed. Along the discussion with some information that we shared, he explained the nitty-gritty details of our situation. We are honestly impressed because the advice we received is the most cost-effective option given our situation and objective. He didn't beat around the bush to give an opinion that will sway us to get an estate plan or push us to get his offered services given that he will lose our business. He explained important details in a clear manner that regular common people will understand. He is responsive to any questions we have for him even though I kinda feel guilty that we are eating away his time. He is sincere with his recommendations and gave us additional resources that we can DIY for my mom or anyone's estate plan. Overall we are lucky and grateful that we reached out to his practice and Atty.Michael Pevney is a treasure to anyone and everyone (in California) who will need legal help for estate planning. Michael and his team did an awesome job helping us reposition some real estate assets in our family trust. I really appreciated his free consultation and his constant communication throughout the whole transaction. We met in-person one time to handle some document signing and everything else was handled electronically. He even included the notary services in his fees, which were very reasonable.
