Going through the family law process can be stressful but I’m glad I found Kalanta Law Office. I had a prior issue in 2018 and another one recently in 2020-2021. Having an experienced and firm attorney, made the difference in my case for the best interest for my child. Kalanta Law Office once again, pulled through for me and was impressed of the case law used in our responses. My case was very successful and couldn’t have done it on my own.

I have had the good pleasure of working with Mr. Kalanta in a professional capacity, representing victims of domestic violence. He is professional and knowledgeable, yes, which is something that one would expect at the very least from a licensed attorney of record, but what I have found myself most impressed with is his heart and passion for his clients. As a family law attorney, clients come to you during one of the most painful and challenging seasons of their life; when domestic violence is involved (which it all too often is in family law cases) the situations with which clients come to you become even more delicate, not to mention devastating. This guy, I'm sure he is good, but in my case and experience with Mr. Kalanta, I funded the trust account he set up for me with $3000.00 and the day before the court date he let me know that the trust account was empty and requested for another $3000.00 to go into the trust account. I told him I didn't have $3000.00 up front but could do payments. He said he needed $3000.00 up front that it is in the terms. I understood, but he refused to do a payment plan. So the next day at court, Mr. Kalanta failed to show up to represent me in court. I lost my case because of it and lost $3000.00 to Mr. Kalanta for nothing. The reviews about Mr. Kalanta are true, compassion, and etc.. But! it comes with a price for all those good qualities. If you don't have the full amount up front, he will leave you, quit on you and not follow through. I recommend that if you don't have $10,000 in a reserves for court, to find an attorney that will offer a payment plan if you are short on money.
