Mr. Pernik is truly an exemplary attorney and very skilled at what he does. My brother was initially assigned a Public Defender who truly screwed things up for him and convoluted his case. I reached out to Mr. Pernik and shared my brothers situation with him, then hired him on to represent him. Mr. Pernik was a consummate professional and extremely knowledgeable in the area of criminal defense/ justice. He treated my brother with the utmost respect and provided him with compassionate and expert representation. He has a tremendous amount integrity, displays authenticity in his interest to resolve issues, exudes patience with the many questions my brother and I asked. The outcome for my brother was much better than it would have been without Mr. Pernik. Mr. Pernik truly cares for his clients and passionate about attaining justice for his clients. He is truly an upstanding attorney with incredible calm, confidence and knowledge. I was lucky enough to consult with Roland Soltesz, who quickly put me at ease about the citation received by my son. Mr. Soltesz was personable & knowledgeable about the possible outcomes for my son's case & took the time to thoroughly explain them to me. Instead of asking us to immediately sign an expensive retainer he suggested that his office continue to monitor the case as it was reviewed by the DA's office. Jackie was then diligent about staying in touch with the DA & giving me updates. Ultimately the DA did not charge my son so we did not have to retain Mr. Soltesz, but I was completely impressed with the professionalism & helpfulness of everyone I had any contact with. I also appreciated the integrity of Mr. Soltesz & his team -- it would have been easy for them to charge me thousands of dollars to retain them (as other attorneys I consulted with suggested) even before knowing whether my son was going to be charged. I couldn't recommend this firm more highly.
