Took $50,000 of my family’s money. We had to take out a second mortgage on the house. He then immediately went on vacation. He showed up to all court appearances, but did nothing of value. Stick to a public defender because Ridley won’t do anything except take your money.

Doug Ridley was extremely negligent in my moms case. He requested a $25,000 retainer and then immediately passed the case onto one of his junior associates. No one from his team even showed up to our first two hearings (he had another young attorney he knew fill in for him who knew nothing about the case). Once we found a new attorney who actually cared, we received constructive advise and ultimately were able to get a significantly better result that what these guys were bringing to the table. Our new attorney also mentioned this guy has a terrible reputation in the legal community. We also sent two emails asking what he had done to help represent us to which we received 1 email saying he would put together an outline and then no update after that (obviously because he did nothing) I feel like we ultimately could have thrown the retainer in the ocean and got the same result as using these people.

Brian and Andrea were the best to have as my defense. Their service was prompt and they made everything simple for me. I wouldn’t have anyone else for the job if I ever need an attorney again, and would highly recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks Ridley Defense!
