I am a UK citizen currently, at the time of writing this reference, working for a European company as Managing Director of the US subsidiary. I have been working in this position holding a visa which is explicitly tied to this company. This year I agreed to take on a new role at a different company and the company engaged Alcorn Immigration Law to take on my case and petition for the new visa that I would need to stay in the US and to take on this new role. On many levels this new role would be life changing, and as an expatriate the idea of changing roles and visas is a little unnerving given what is at stake. The team at Alcorn Immigration Law were exceptional. First in terms of the breadth and clarity of advice given to me by Sophie while exploring the most suitable visa types and then during application preparation process. The visa type that I had to apply for has a complex set of criteria that need to be met and proven to ensure a successful application, inasmuch the visa status is difficult to achieve. The team were exceptionally diligent, professional, supportive, and timely as they worked with me to draft a multifaceted and lengthy petition for a nonimmigrant worker status. The team clearly care for their clients and are extremely committed. It was a huge relief and a monumental moment for me when my case was recently approved. I cannot imagine that the petition would have been successful without the support and continued hard work of the Alcorn Immigration Law team. I cannot thank or recommend the team at Alcorn Immigration Law highly enough!

Montgomery Paisano concluded my divorce for me in MAY2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was responsive and always looking out for me. He recommended changes to the draft Marriage Settlement Agreement, which we accepted, and the Agreement was accepted without comment by the Family Court. Working like that during a pandemic shows commitment. I made a good choice is working with Montgomery.

Predatory scare tactics and overpriced services. Would not recommend. Edit to add: Since the owner responded without addressing my concerns at all, I should mention that within the consultation (which was cut short significantly due to both their lateness and ending early for no apparent reason), I was told that I may have my green card revoked if I did not hire them. Not only is this entirely WRONG information, but it is unethical to use that kind of manipulation to acquire business. Especially when you charge almost 5 times more than every other immigration lawyer I’ve consulted.
