We hired Mindy Bish to handle our case regarding a broken hip. Mindy Bish botched this case so bad we had to dismiss it because no other lawyer would take the case in that state. We called about 15 attorneys and they all said they would not take the case as it had been botched too badly. Without our consent or knowledge, Mindy Bish settled the case for an amount that would net us ZERO... NOTHING... NADA. Interesting though... the settlement was enough to net her several thousand dollars. When we refused to sign the settlement agreement, she became abusive, cursing at us and threatening to sue us for her "costs." As you might imagine, we didn't file suit so she could make money and we would get nothing. If you are considering her as your attorney, take heed of what I am saying. You only get ONE CHANCE at a lawsuit for damages. If your lawyer botches it up, you will get nothing and could possibly even be held liable for the other party's attorney's fees and costs. With so many other great and competent attorneys with 5 star reviews and hundreds of happy clients, why take a chance on this rude and incompetent attorney? Mindy Bish has threatened me with legal action if I post. Truth is an absolute defense to slander so you can rest assured that what I say is 100% truthful. Otherwise, I would be in a legally compromised position. I filed a complaint with the CA State Bar Assoc. as well as a small claims suit to try to recover something. RUN AWAY!

I've read bad reviews on Mindy but my experience she was kind and professional. My case wasn't an easy one, I was in an accident with a woman from a different country who left back to her home after the accident. Mindy and her team tracked her down, and served her in the other country! It's been about 5 years and honestly I thought they forgot about me or my case fell through the cracks because of the circumstances, but no. They called me a few weeks back to tell me we were settling and that I would get a nice chunk of money after they were paid and all my bills were. Thank you guys for not giving up it was truly a blessing to get that phone call! Now I'm just waiting for the final result, hoping for the best.

UPDATE: 10-4-16 Today Mindy Bish sent me an email threatening me that if I don't remove this listing within 30 days, she will sue me (see photos for copy of email). Truth is an absolute defense to slander and I stand by my claims. RUN! DO NOT HIRE MINDY BISH! Mindy Bish is extremely rude and unprofessional. She had my mom's broken hip case for roughly 2 years and basically did little to nothing. However, she did discuss the case with unauthorized people including my mother's caregivers. She did NOT have permission to do that and as a lawyer she should have known better. That is ILLEGAL! Then one day we got a call that the case had been settled. We were excited! We asked HOW MUCH WE WOULD GET and were told NOTHING... ZILCH... ZERO. Mindy Bish informed us that Medicare and our secondary insurance would be paid and that of course she would be paid and there would be NOTHING left for US. As you might imagine, that was unacceptable to us. When we told her we would not sign the papers she became verbally abusive, berating me and threatened to resign form the case which she now has leaving us to START COMPLETELY OVER with another attorney IF we can find someone to take this badly damaged case. Most attorneys won't take a case that has already been handled by someone else. I believe she never had any intention of fighting for anything. I think she intended to do as little work as possible and when she found out that actual work would be involved, she resigned. She interrupts and I could never finish a sentence over her yelling and screaming and berating. We are filing a formal complaint with the California Bar Association and are retaining counsel to sue her as she has compromised my mother's case beyond repair the defendants now have no motivation to settle for a greater amount. And finally, she has refused to turn over the file which is a breach of ethics. We have sent at least 8 emails asking-demanding that she send the files to the address she has on file which she states she will not. She took gross advantage of an elderly lady who truly hurt herself badly and who desperately needs this money to pay her bills. There's so much more including her constant interrupting, yelling and complete rudeness but you get the idea. Our story is not unique. Read the other reviews and look up civil cases against Mindy Bish as well as Ca Bar complaints. Wow! With so many other options to hire great attorneys with PROVEN reviews, why take a chance on this scam of an attorney?

Mindy is passionate about winning cases and serving her clients. She does not mince words, so if you do not want to be told the truth, go elsewhere. Court is stressful, but having Mindy on my case I knew that I had the best representation any where. I am incredibly grateful that Mindy was referred to me by a mutual friend.

I was referred by Larry H. Parker. They reviewed my file and handled my case in a relatively timely manner. My calls were returned and the settlement was probably the best for dealing with a piss poor insurance company.

I was not gonna leave feedback cause I just wanted to be done with this law firm, but when I received a bill after my settlement was settled that all changed. I was originally with Larry h Parker, which is a lazy unprofessional place who doesn't keep up with any records (they lost my pictures at one point) and also changed my attorney without even telling me until I eventually called because she wasn't responding to my emails any longer, then I was told. Anywho. After years, yes years.. 2012-2014 of getting no where with them they sent me a letter saying Bish law will now take over and represent me. After being forced to leave I received a letter from bish law saying that I need about few thousand dollars in order to be represented because most likely big name corporations have great lawyers and I would not stand a chance against them, or I wouldn't be represented at all. I called the number on the letter to get more info about this. I spoke with Mindy and she then mentioned that her ex husband sent those out to be spiteful or something of the sort and to disregard that. Everything seemed to flow much better than Larry h Parker though. After about a few months (2015) I eventually got a date for my deposition and tips on what to do and things like that. Anywho I eventually won the case and I thought they would fight for more funds but Nope. It was barely enough to cover for my bills and the fees which they totally broke their own contract by taking about 65% instead of only 30%, left me with chump change. The guy (I believe his name is Cameron) who represented me called to give me numbers of what I would be getting and it was wayyyy smaller than I knew I should be getting. I told him no and said he'd call me back within the week to try to negotiate more from the firm. Eventually he went up only about 1,500 dollars more and at this point I felt like I just want this to be in my past and I wanted it to be over. I said ok. I was sent the papers and it showed where the money was going and they had hidden ways of taking extra money. At the top there was 10,000 just as extra fees they blatantly took from me for no reason and this was not including the attorney fees that was down below. I just wanted it to be done with. I signed and mailed it. Supposedly one of the medical bills settled for 0.00 dollars or so I thought cause now on March 16, 2016 I have a bill from them. (My reason for finally leaving feedback, too many strikes to let slip) I called to inquire and mindy wasn't too thrilled about it, she some how felt attacked and felt the need to over talk me and then talk to me as if I was a kid and all i wanted to know is if that was legal for them to NOW try to bill me after they themselves said I had a zero balance when bish law called to calculate all my bills. She switched it on me and said, " well they will ding your credit if you don't pay it". I TRIED to speak but I was constantly cut off. I was baffled that this was even an answer from her. She then said that " they'll say you KNEW you had a balance and that you had to pay so you'll be responsible". I then tried to speak but she wasn't even trying to listen. Really rude and careless after the case is settled. I never spoke with these billing departments I told her maybe if she would call them (since she had more evidence of the actually interaction between them ) and tell them about it, she said, " they won't care if they knew you settled they'll want the money anyways, you should just call and negotiate maybe they'll settle for 100 dollars, cause I'm not sending money to pay it". I couldn't believe that I was treated like a bum on the streets asking for a hand out. This business swindles you out of your money. Just looking for a pretty penny. Could care less what you get back cause they will get PAID the majority of it. You are the injured but yet you get jack s#!+ at the end.. If you have dignity I'd say no, cause she puts no value on your life cause she won't fight for extra fees. Cause she doesn't care about you just what you can bring into her business.

I didn't like anything about Bish Law. I was referred to her because my husband was driving even though I was the injured party so the people on the stupid commercials who say we will fight for you lied. Neither one of them fight for you. Mindy yells at you when you push at her for questions and ask her about your case when you have every right to and when you want to update them with information such as you will be moving from your residence and have no forwarding address because you will be homeless. She blatantly told me, her staff doesn't need to hear my sob story. Then after she was done yelling at me and accusing me of being a liar about her staff, she sent me a letter stating that she is no longer taking my case and that she would be sending me back my file to me. That was in July. It's November. I was evicted in September!! She doesn't care about her clients and wastes there time and efforts.

My case was with another attorney first. He referred me to Mindy Bish because he said she would 'fight' for me and that she was a great trial attorney. HA! One of her people from her office was put on my case. She did not fight for me, she SETTLED my case! When I got the Schedule of Expenses I had some questions. There were a lot of typos, including doctors names I did not know, my address was wrong, and just a line that said FEES and an amount. NO telling what I was being charged for. When she did call me back, which took A WEEK, and me having to call the other attorneys office to get her to call me. She proceeded in on me by yelling and screaming at me and saying how ungrateful I was and that I should feel grateful that she got my my piddly amount! She was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNETHICAL. Her treatment of me and her tone flabergasted me! All I wanted to know was something simple. I could not get a word in edgewise!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HER FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT GIVING UP HER LICENSE.

Mindy is one of the best attorneys in California. Mindy truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond what even great attorneys do for their clients. She truly gets to know her clients and advocates with passion.

I am very disappointed in Mindy Bish and I would NEVER recommend her to ANYONE! I did all the work and got all my medical records myself. Her staff did nothing and I didnt even talk to her as my lawyer for weeks. Mindy is very rude, unprofessional and not on the clients side! She has a "bully" attitude and doesnt care about her clients. She is unprofessional and I would never want anyone like her representing me.
