I consulted with Kerri after having to fire my family law attorney in the middle of a spousal modification case. She restored my faith in family law attorneys--honestly! To be sure, she could have just advised me to sign on with a big retainer and continue the battle. However, she gave me sound options that came from a place of wisdom and authenticity--I felt that she truly had my best interests at the forefront. I have peace of mind after following her advice. I will recommend her to anyone in need of a family law specialist.

Joe Patton has been a terrific estate planning resource. He’s very knowledgeable and well-versed. He’s a higher-end attorney but he helped us understand the complexities of setting up a revocable trust and took the time to answer all of our questions candidly (and make suggestions surrounding those hypothetical circumstances). My husband and I feel very fortunate to know him and to know now that our affairs are in order should the unthinkable occur. We’d both highly recommend his counsel as we know him to be very hard-working and honest. He’s a good guy!

I found Kerri on Avvo initially and consulted her to handle my divorce in 2015. I was a little hesitant to do a consultation with her as she did not offer a "free" consultation like many other attorney's but after considering her reviews posted I met with her and presented my case. She gave me honest feedback on the best strategy for the divorce and what it would take to complete. I hired her and we worked well together to get my divorce final 8 months. The following year after my divorce was finalized I was told my job was moving to another state and I had to go through a custody battle as my child wanted to stay with me. Because of how well Kerri handled my divorce I also retained her to handle my custody battle. Again, Kerri worked with me to develop a strategy on how to best handle the case. My ex fought this hard and after a custody evaluation we still spent 4 days in court. In the end custody was awarded in my favor thanks in part to hard work and diligence of Kerri and her team. Going into this situation the odds were against me and she made sure the facts were represented in the end. I cannot recommend her enough.

My highly unique and contentious conservatorship case had festered and dragged on for several years until I sought the services of Amy Gostanian's office. Within a few months we reached the first of two favorable settlements that ended ongoing traumatic and expensive courtroom battles. Additionally, Amy and her staff have exhibited a very high level of professionalism in every aspect of business. Amy's thorough knowledge of both the law and my complex case combined with her eloquent and incisive arguments made Amy a commanding presence in the courtroom. Judging from the results, these traits also served her very well in the settlement negotiations with opposing counsel. Administratively, Amy and her staff have let nothing fall through the cracks. They follow up in a timely and appropriate manner, and always allow time for questions and explanations. Their invoices are very detailed and accurate. The office work ethic is impeccable. Amy and her staff have earned the level of trust that results in peace of mind. I wish I had sought her services sooner. It pains me to think of the difference it might have made.

I lost my father last week and am calling around for estate lawyers. I called and left a message with Amys firm and was contacted by a rude, uncaring, obnoxious paralegal that told me she called me because "people suck the lives out of attorneys" Needless to say I was floored. I asked to the uncaring paralegal (I do not know her name) to ask Amy to call me and give her my information and the paralegal just hung up on me.

I had several recommendations for attorneys and at the time Kerri was an unknown to me. She came as a recommendation from other very good Divorce attorney's who could not commit to the time and the complexity my case was likely to involve. As I talked with and consulted other attorneys Kerri's reputation for resolving and diffusing difficult cases convinced me she was the one I needed. Though Kerri was also busy I was pleased when her group was able to balance new clients to fit me in. I was also pleased Kerri took point on my case. I knew it took a team so as it turned out I got a great! Attorney with an awesome team behind her. I am so glad she took my case because through the three years of my complex and difficult case she always balanced her cases to ensure she and her team could do their best for her clients. I would like to think maybe I was special and though I hope so, I think all her clients feel the same way. Even if she wasn’t as good as she is, I would hire her for her experience, personal qualities and character. In the end I know she and her team did their best and are the best.

Lawyers gets divorced too, and when we do, Kerri is people's top pick. She is sensible, fair, and efficient. Her billing records are well done; you'll know what you are paying for and most importantly, you'll get quality work. Kerri is an excellent litigator; she represented me in an evidentiary hearing and knows how to draw out testimony and cross examine witnesses. I personally saw how the judges respect her and her reputation. She won't litigate if there is a cheaper, faster option, however, and provided good ideas on solutions to some challenging situations, including contested custody, visitation, and property settlement.

In October of 2012, I was faced with divorce after 7 years of marriage. I had no idea what I was doing, as no one ever imagines having to go through anything like this. I was fortunate enough to find Kerri, after I had spent 2 months with another attorney at a different office who had zero interest in returning calls or easing my mind through the difficult times I was facing, to say the least. I sought out Kerri, met with her for a consultation, and instantly felt calm and at ease. I just knew I was in good hands. Not only was she sympathetic to my emotional situation, but she truly knew what she was doing from a legal standpoint. Through the process, she was able to handle so many different facets of my situation: a (then) 2 1/2 year old son and custody, drug issues with my ex-husband, a community property business and just a volatile situation all around. She was able to diffuse the situation, help me with the community property business in getting a fair buy out as well as alimony and child support, and most importantly, get primary physical custody of my son. At all times, Kerri (and her amazing staff) responded to emails quickly, always returned calls, was always concerned about my well being and had a game plan in place at all times. There was never a moment where I felt scared in the uncertainties, because I had Kerri representing me. I was safe with her. My divorce ended up settling peacefully because Kerri knew how to handle my ex-husband and his attorney. Now that the process is over, and things are much more calm, I know that I am in the position I am in because of Kerri and her hard work. I received alimony, am still receiving child support on a monthly basis and my son is able to see his dad on a regular basis. I have had other friends who have gone through divorce and have heard the nightmare stories about their attorneys. I have never hesitated once in referring them to Kerri. I would recommend her to anyone. She is by far, the best out there. Truly second to none!
