I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Sky Law Group in dealing with my divorce. Divorce is never something you would want to go through but sometimes we have no choice. Sky Law Group was not the first representation I hired. I hired one based out of Whittier but I am not going to mention no names. This other lawyer all he wanted was to prolong the case and get more money out of me. My divorce was a complicated one. It took about 4-5 years due to having 3 daughters, personal properties and debts. Well after dealing with my first lawyer I was very displeased on how I didn't get results or on how I felt he was agreeing to the other lawyers demands (pushover). This is when I decided that I needed someone better. At the time while working for Edison I was referred to have a consultation with Sky Law group. This is when I met Mrs. Bisla. Right away I knew I had someone that will be in my corner. We went through my case in detail in regards to custody, child support, what's owed to one another. My x wanted to take me for a ride, claiming I owed her $50K plus. Mrs. Bisla took charge and proceeded to represent me in my case. After a few months and do to her hard work I was finally done with this divorce from hell. Not only was it over but at the end I received prime custody of my daughters and didn't have to pay her one penny. I am a physician and was currently in collections from the IRS because I mistakenly used a Turbo Tax Referral (TTR) Company that failed to accurately report the requested IRS information I had provide to the TTR Company. A close friend to me recommended I search for an attorney who had strong experience working for the IRS but also a strong academic background who not understood the regulations but the theory of law behind the regulations. I found 3 attorneys, made contact with all three, and settled on Daniel because of his professional experience, academic background, his highly professional interpersonal skills which allowed him to understand very quickly the predicament I was in and swiftly take actions to stop collections. Then as I was reading the IRS Regulations for the next 3 months, he recommend 2 professionals to prepare my tax returns, helped me hire a 35 year veteran IRS Supervisor to negotiate a temporary installment agreement, and activated the IRS Tax Advocate, at an extremely low cost which protected me financially until we were able to resolve the tax issues. After reviewing my information Daniel recommend an Audit Reconsideration as opposed to an "Offer in Compromise" which, in the end, 3 years later, ultimately saved me an absolute bundle. My work is to save peoples lives. Quite frankly Daniels work saved my retirement and was I felt "life saving". I will never forget that the kind and gentle man Daniel has been to me, along with his exceptional professionalism along with those he recommends to work with him, forever changed my life, and allows me to continue to do the work that I love.
