Tracy was excellent when I was a victim of a domestic violence recently. First, she exhibited empathy for the situation. The initial consultation was very comprehensive, where she laid out the typical events that take place in these kind of situations (clearly she is very very experienced in this particular field of law). Just knowing the possible sequence of future events took away some of the stress, and the mind went into potential mitigation action items. She was able to provide anticipatory steps to prevent a prosecution of the plaintiff ( i did not wish to pursue the matter in court). In hindsight, this steps along with her co-ordination with the defence attorney resulted in the preferred outcome I desired. I will highly recommend her for cases that involves domestic violence, either to pursue a case or those who wish to get it dismissed. Her service was excellent, and she has a no-nonsense way to get to the main points in a case and how to proceed in an effective manner.

Sharma Brooks unethical behaivor is very disturbing. I witnessed it first hand. Do not be fooled by her web page and zip code. There are plenty of good attorneys out there. She is not one of them. Beware

State Bar of California issued a warning letter against Brooks for her misconduct in my case. I posted my first review about a year ago. Ironically, right after I posted my true review to Sharman Brooks, five five-stars reviews were immediately posted after my review. Brooks won’t do anything for you except malpractice.

After my first phone conversation with Tracy during our initial consultation I knew why my family law attorney had said “if a loved one was in your position I would tell them to hire Tracy Miller” As soon as I hired Tracy, her and her team got right to work on my behalf by reaching out to the plaintiff’s attorney on record regarding a TRO filed in family court and reaching out to the DA regarding the status of a possible criminal case. Tracy Miller’s team was meticulous in requesting information from my self, the sheriff’s department, the DA’s office and the plaintiff in the civil matter. Everyone in the office is competent, efficient and prompt - as a business owner and operator I was very impressed with their service. Once Tracy was armed with all the information she explained to me my options and the strategy we would use to proceed in my civil case case. Most importantly she defined what success would be which in my case would be to not testify or give any statement in regards to the TRO in civil court because any statement by myself could be used against me if the DA would decide to prosecute me within the statute of limitation from my arrest. That said we succeeded and surpassed expectations. Tracy suggested we depose the plaintiff and anyone that was on the plaintiff’s witness list. Before the deposition of the plaintiff there was no negotiations to be had but before Tracy was done the plaintiff’s attorney asked for a break and to continue the deposition on future date due to the length of the deposition. Tracy used all the information I gave her during our hours of conversation preparing for this to find the holes in the plaintiff’s story. (I was delighted when I read the transcript of the deposition) Next business day we received an offer from the plaintiff which we countered and subsequently settled with terms that dismissed the TRO and the request for a PRO with prejudice. I’m very happy I hired Tracy and, I’m very grateful to her and her amazing team!
