Just like you, I was clicking through the countless advertisements for lawyers near me. All were very short in their response and spent more time in talking about payment and fees rather than discussing a plan of attack for my situation. I messaged the Lerma Law offices with not much hope they would be any different. Araceli got back to me same day, we went over possible plans and she let me know up front what my possibilities were. Although she was unable to take my case she gave me valuable information which I appreciated and even referred my to a law firm better suited to my situation. To top it off Araceli never asked for a dime. She gave me such peace of mind and helped relieve some anxiety I was having. I have worked with Ms. Lerma several times and so glad I found her as she is honest attorney that loves her job and cares about what's best for you and the child. I have a very difficult co-parenting situation and she has given me truthful advice about my situation and how to navigate it and get the best outcome. She listens to you and your concerns and is very respectful of the other party involved while in court. She will do her best to win and has gotten many orders in place for me that helped create a better co-parenting situation. She has gone above and beyond any other attorney i have worked with in the past and she it not just about racking up legal fees.

Worse nightmare lawyer! He never returns your calls, when you go to his office he hides. His secretary tells you that he will return your calls and he never does. No updates on your case. Would not recommend this law office to NO ONE. State Bar will be getting my complaint. La peor pesadilla como abogado, nunca regresa las llamadas, cuando vas a su oficina se esconde. Su secretaria te dice que te va a regresar las llamadas y nunca lo hace. Nunca te da información reciente de tu caso. NO SE LO RECOMENDARIA NI A MI PEOR ENEMIGO. Lo voy a reportar con el Estado.

I was referred to Mr. Gomez from another family lawyer that did not deal with civil cases Mr. Gomez represented me over my civil case. Consultation is free, and representation is great, it showed the experience Mr. Gomez has in the way he interprets the Law. The staff followed up throughly with paperwork and appointments. I was pleased with the services!

DO NOT GO!!!! LISTEN TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS. no returning calls or emails at all. Day of court didn't show up which upset the judge and then on the rescheduled day he completely screwed it up and sent the wrong email TWICE which was a court sensetive document. Run the other way. I will 100% be contacting the state bar with complaints and proof of his complete negligence.
