I was in a very strange situation at the age of 53 I had never had a parking ticket much less ever been in an accident One morning on my way to work I passed out at the wheel and hit a parked car and a pedestrian. In turn I was charged with a DUI in which I passed a blow test as well as all sobriety field tests which was found no alcohol in my system I was taken to the hospital and sent home . A month later I received a letter in the mail from the District Attorney’s office I was being charged with a felony at the time I knew I did nothing wrong so I chose to take a public defender.... Wrong choice 3 yrs later I found myself in a state mental hospital by the court system and jail time before I was ever charged. While locked up in the state mental hospital I contacted Mr. Aval and was able to retain his services Within 10 days of retaining him I was released and back home. Within 5 months from that I was sentenced to probation no prison time. I was looking at a minimum of 2 yrs state prison. Lesson to be learned never count on government appointed servants with your life Money talks and is well worth your freedom.

Not good!!!!! Unfortunately I don’t have the same opinion about this lawyer.A little less than a year ago I put my case in his hands or at least I thought i did! His assistant Esperanza Came to my house to fill out paper work and the whole ordeal she said to give him a couple of weeks that he would call me never did!!! I called him over and over no answer. Esperanza would be the one that would call and always made excuses for him .... he was always in trial always too busy. I finally decided to put my foot down and said that if I didn’t hear from him I was going to go to his office to meet with him for I had no idea where my case was heading ! He called that same day and just to tell me that he never got around to it that he was going to refer me to someone else!!!!! Unfortunately because he waited months to tell me that he had my case on hold now there’s not much to do!!!! This man didn’t have the courtesy and or courage to call me to let me know that there was no time for my case and just has his assistant cover him up which they both make you believe that they are taking care of you !!! DEFINITELY I DONT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN AT LEAST BE HONEST ENOUGH W/YOU TO LET YOU KNOW WHETHER UR CASE IS WORTH IT OR NOT!!!!
