I was referred to Zoe to assist me with some paperwork preparation. Not only was she extremely helpful, she was patient, thorough and very clear and transparent about the process.

I don't typically write reviews for anything , but this woman is a SAINT! I had spent literal years consulting with different attorneys, most of which were afraid to take my case. A random person gave me her number, I called it, and when I tell you this woman took my case with a week (or so) notice of a court date, and has had my back and consulted me better than any of the other 5-10 attorneys I had spoken with prior to her, she is AMAZING. Empathetic, to the point, financially conscious, responsive, not selfish at all, and an amazing memory to boot, she has been my absolute rock and I probably would have lost my kids if she didn't articulate correctly to me. The way she handles her business and communicates to me in such a grounded manner is precisely the reason I have my children. She is strategic as hell, like a cat waiting to pounce on the right moment, and I will never choose another attorney for family matters! The way she strategizes is also the reason why many of our disagreements can now be resolved outside of the courts, because I think many attorneys would have been impulsive in my case which would have made matters much worse in a very delicate situation! Zoe Garvin handled my child custody, restraining order and divorce cases. This was an extremely difficult time for my ex-wife and myself. What I appreciate most about Zoe was that she was always respectful to both of us. The legal system is designed to pit a couple against each other and to amplify those differences in order to take advantage of them practically for its own sake but although she always acted in my best interests she was also kind and fair and did her best to be equitable towards and communicate with my ex sympathetically and in a way that left us the greatest opportunity for mutual self-resolution when that was still possible. I don't know about other people, but to me this was very important. She is a relatively soft spoken lawyer but it seemed to me the judge always listened to her very carefully and when he did not understand she made a point of clarifying the situation to him. With respect to my own worries Zoe always answered my questions in a way that made clear our options and allowed me to get some rest during that stressful time. For any man or any woman unlucky enough to have to go through Family Court, I would highly recommend her.

I adore Zoe Garvin and if I ever need anything again I will only go to her. She always responded within a short amount of time. I felt like she was my friend and that she really cared so it was easy talking to her. She made a horrid divorce a pleasant situation. Thank you Zoe!

Zoe Garvin is a dishonest attorney that charged me a premium price to go to court for child support, visitation and alimony she didn’t do anything. When the judge order her to write the court order for child visitation, Ms. Garvin never did it, when I question her about it after months of no action, she send me a letter cancelling her services and telling me that I’m in my own. Watch out for this fake attorney, she will tell you something and do something else. Then she wants to recommend her friends to appeal your case because she lost. Any good attorney will tell you that it’s very difficult and expensive to appeal a divorce/family law case.

My ex and I were trying to do the divorce ourselves, but dealing with the house required an attorney. We found Zoe and she was able to help us both (with a waiver approved by the judge). It turned out we had some documents filed with errors and she caught and fixed them. Zoe was highly responsive to any inquiries, even after the divorce was complete. Her prices were also very fair compared to many others. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
