I wish I could write this review from a similar standpoint of the positive experiences/reviews before me, but after three weeks of reaching out to Ryan, I spoke with him twice. The first few times I called, I left a voicemail and received no call back. Finally, after a week or so, Ryan answered and let me know that he would call me back at a later time because he was heading into court. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but after another week of not hearing back, I called again. With success that time around, I spoke with him for about five minutes and got to explain my case. He said that he would forward my information to his assistant who would send me the paperwork to fill out so I can be officially represented, but again, no contact. Since that experience (1 month ago), I have not heard from him or anyone at the office, and have decided to go with a different firm. This was my first time trying to contact a firm for any assistance and I regret to say that it was definitely a discouraging experience. 10/14/2019 An update with regard to my initial review: The firm has stated that they have no record of me calling in. Perhaps I’ll look up my call records from my phone bill for proof since no one at the firm wants to take accountability for the lack of communication. I’d be happy to post a photo of them on here. Anyways, how rude of you to say I’m mixed up with another firm. The fact of the matter was that I called and was told by Ryan himself that he’d (1) call me back for more information and (2) he’d relay a message to someone in the firm to give me a call for intake. Neither happened, and after a few more attempts of calling myself, still failed to receive any response. Thank you for confirming my initial 1 star review by not taking accountability, and instead, reflecting the blame.

When I called Ryan picked up immediately which was impressive to me. I had called a few other workers comp lawyers in Oakland before I called Ryan. He was very kind and willing to listen to my issues. After about 40 minutes on the phone with him I was relieved for a few reasons, the biggest reason was I felt I had found someone to help fight for my benefits and get me off work so I could heal. Ryan has always been available to talk to me about my case, he sets realistic expectations that the system is slow, so do not be alarmed if things move slowly, and they do, workers comp is a mess. This review is the least I could do to help a man who is doing so much to help me get what I deserve from the system.
