Very rarely do you come across professionals who combine intelligence, integrity and fierceness. These are the qualities I would look for and found in criminal defense attorney Givelle Lamano. Ms. Lamano is highly smart and ethical. She fights for her clients. In addition to possessing great legal skills, she is committed to working out the best possible resolutions for her clients all in the while handholding them and making them know they can rely on her all the way. I highly recommend Ms. Lamano as an attorney.

Givelle Lamano is a remarkable criminal defense attorney and I would highly recommend her to anyone! She is very personable, helpful and is always ready to answer any questions you may have. Givelle is incredibly knowledgeable and will fight to help you with your legal problems. She will even break down the entire legal process to you to ensure you have a full understanding of what to expect. I liked her direct and honest approach in informing me all the potential outcomes that could occur with my case. Thanks to all of her advice and hard work, I had a great outcome in my case!

I went to Matthew to get legal advice before getting married. I knew there were pre-nups, health care directives, wills and living wills that my fiance and I needed to think about before tying the knot. I didn't have any idea what any of these contracts meant, how they were constructed or how I should approach them. Matthew was fantastic about slowly walking me through every aspect of every kind of agreement, giving me examples to help me understand, and answering all of my questions.
He was extraordinarily helpful, accommodating and communicated promptly with me every step of the way. I absolutely plan to continue going to him for any and all of my future legal needs. =]

Winer, McKenna and Burritt is an excellent law firm in California's East Bay Area. Specializing in sexual harassment, personal injury and employment cases, I would recommend them to any of my closest friends or relatives. They have tons of resources and contacts at their finger tips, something other firms commonly lack. They are a great team of individuals that all play their part in organizing a plan to build solid cases deserving of maximum compensation. Their clients are always more than happy with the end results and I have only heard positive things about their practice. John Winer and Alexis McKenna are experienced trial attorneys with excellent reputations. This group of attorneys sympathizes with their clients and takes great care of their every need. From beginning to end, Winer, McKenna, Burritt foster a positive experience for their clients and make sure they include them in the entire process. Again, I would only recommend an experienced, reputable firm to my closest friends and family, and Winer, McKenna and Burritt LLP is most definitely it!

“Over a decade ago my wife and I struggled in a boundary dispute with a neighbor over the trees near the property line. Being a longtime family-friend of John’s and knowing his level of experience with the law, I didn’t have to think twice about calling Winer, McKenna and Burritt for help. The firm got right to work by conducting a thorough investigation to build up my case. Not only did the firm devote countless hours behind the scenes preparing a strong claim, they also made time to keep in good contact with me to make me and my wife as comfortable and worry-free as possible throughout the litigation. I was more than happy with the end result and have since called upon Winer, McKenna and Burritt for additional services. John Winer and his support staff possess countless desirable traits that anyone in need of an attorney should know about. With over thirty plus years of experience, Winer, McKenna and Burritt LLP is a professional, honest and reliable firm with an impressive history. I recommend them with no reservations.”

Mr. Brinegar was kind, patient and understanding upon initial contact and offered advice. He listened to my situation carefully, despite my own difficulties explaining myself. He did a thorough and complete job answering my question, explaining my situation to me so it is clear. He was extremely prompt. He told me what I needed to know, why I needed to know it and also told me how to improve things. He was straightforward and honest about fees, and what he is able to do in my situation. There was one thing he doesn't usually handle. He told me, and recommended a solution that is useful and correct. I would/will contact Mr. Brinegar again if I needed help with the things he deals with. I felt relief that I could speak openly and was treated with dignity. Mr. Brinegar is the kind of attorney I would want to work with me. He explained everything I need to know, made suggestions, gave me a detailed explanation of what I might do, AND how to do it, which is fabulous. I have had a very positive experience with Mr. Brinegar.

I called asking if a workmen's comp settlement offer will affect my SSDI award. If yes, how to reduce the impact.
He told me it will not affect my SSDI but could affect my future SS income when I reach retirement age. He answered my questions thoroughly and patiently.
He gave me wording to use in any settlement to reduce the impact of a cash disbursement/settlement.
