My goal in searching for a divorce attorney was to find a person with whom I could work and who put my interests over her own. Suzanne was that person. A person who could explain to me the law, the parameters of a likely settlement after 32 years of marriage, and my options. A person who thought tactically and recognized when to wait and when to proceed. A person who told me directly when certain things were not worth fighting over, even if I might be legally correct. I was convinced I would not be able to financially support myself and my 2 kids in the Bay Area alone, work full time because he made it clear his support would be conditional, take care of my medically fragile daughter, all her doctor appointments and be a present mom. I knew something was going to have to give and I could not let it be at the sacrifice of my children’s health and education. So I stayed and endured the D.V. In the name of doing what was best for my kids… -what I know for sure … had it not been for 3 things. The pandemic… Suzanne… and sitting in the stillness… I know I would not be where I am today. While the fight was the hardest thing I’ve done yet and cried the whole way through. Life is now so beautiful now. Redemption is possible even the messiest most broken of situations. I have been a client for a few years since the onset of my wc injury. Throughout my entire time being a client I have experienced good customer service from both staff and attorneys. However, their Office Manager Monroe, is very rude and unprofessional. I find this to be so disappointing that he interacts with clients is this tone. It is also unfortunate because he is a representative of the firm.

The law office of James Latimer’s is very good. I had my wrist crushed on a job back to in 2014. After six months of being pushed around by workmen’s comp doctors. And workmen’s comp. I call him, we talked and he took on my case. From that point on I felt I had someone fighting for me. And got me and my family moving into the right direction. With second doctor opinion and had surgery to repair my wrist. It was a three year process. But after signing with Mr. Latimer things were not my fight. It became his and his team. And they all were amazing to work with. They were able to get me repaired and able to get back to work so I could get back to taking care of my family. So now in 2020 I am needing his services again. And because he was good at handling everything in the past. And felt so well taken care of. I went back to him. I highly recommend him. Also with the COVID-19 it has been easy to do everything online. From signing digitally. And faxing paperwork to his office. Have done phone consultations. Still feel in very capable hands. While staying safe from this virus.
