Employer owed my husband and other employees over 2 mos. payroll, medical benefits and other things. He said he had no money but still demanded work done. Carla gave us great advice and suggestions on how to handle this and, guess what, the boss found the money!

I consulted with Carla Minnard in the summer of 2015. At the time, I was facing a difficult situation involving a start-up and a former employer, with disputed intellectual property as background. I was unable to clearly differentiate ethical from legal considerations, unsure as to the best way to protect my interests, and if legal action was warranted.
I felt time was of the essence. I reached out to Carla Minnard based on strong recommendation from a close friend. Carla returned my call in a matter of minutes. After a concise conversation, Carla suggested we meet in person for an in-depth review of facts surrounding the matter. Later in the week, Carla and I sat down for close to two hours going over many facets of the situation I was in. I really felt Ms. Minnard was genuinely engaged and attentive to all the details. We agreed she would do preliminary research, consult with subject matters experts from her network for additional opinions, and get back to me with her conclusions as my situation was not clear cut.
Ms. Minnard contacted me a couple of days later. She took me through a robust analysis that led to the natural conclusion that any legal action would require an enormous amount of preparation work, with a fairly slim probability of success.
We jointly agreed the proper course of action in this case involved NO legal action on my part. The education process was eye-opening and I have to say quite liberating.

Carla helped me get a new lease on life by taking an "un-winnable case" (other law firms direct quote), fighting and working harder than anyone ive ever known.
She obviously cares about what she does and it shows in the courtroom, her compassion for others coupled with her passion for doing what's right and fair is 1 of the things that make her so special. She won my lawsuit against a large multi-national supply company for wrongful termination, they hired a huge Orlando based law firm and were able to spend seemingly limitless amounts of money to try to win no matter what. Carla's efforts and never ending attention to small details are the reason i ended up winning a sizable 6 figure verdict.
Should i ever need an attorney again that not only is a Winner, but CARES about what is right and what is worth fighting for, i would hire her and her team again in a second. Thank you . C Vance

Carla took on my case, which had a lot of problems from a legal standpoint. She was honest with me about the problems and challenges, but once she agreed to help me she was 1000% full steam ahead. I don't know when she sleeps (or if she does) - You will get emails from her at 3 am regularly and you can tell she really cares and takes your case personally. She got me a 7 figure settlement from some very difficult people and she never let them get away with anything and just kept fighting - my wife and I nick named her "Ali." You simply cannot do any better than hiring Carla to fight for you.

Carla accepted the medical negligence case of my disabled sister who died in March 2012 in a Burbank hospital. Things went REALLY well for several weeks: she was very quick to reply, very complimentary and caring. I would email her and would almost always receive a reply the very same day.
However, things really went wrong at one point. She was telling me something about the legality of me suing as my sister's sibling and it just didn't make sense to me. So, after hanging up from her, I did some online research. She had told me that siblings couldn't sue (in this particular instance), but I found LOTS of website that said otherwise. So I emailed her the information and she wrote back, totally changing the subject and acting like that's not what she had ever said. That disturbed me.
So I decided to go to her website to look her up, something I had wrongly not done before hiring her (I was so thrilled that she was taking my case, I just went with it). On her website, it was clear that she was an employment law attorney. Nowhere in her qualifications did it list medical negligence or malpractice.
So I shot her off an email and as kindly as I could, asked if she had ever worked on a medical negligence case before.
NINE days later, I still had not received a reply from her. This from the gal who had been replying so fast up until that point. So I emailed the attorney who had referred me to her (he is a friend of a judge that lives on my street), and told him what happened. He said he'd call her and inquire. He wrote me back that I should talk to her about it. So I emailed her and told her that he had said that.
I then received an email from Carla stating that "sometimes attorneys and client relationships just aren't meant to be. " (or something to that effect). I was shocked! Up until questioning her credentials, she was 100% behind working on my case. Once I questioned her, all of a sudden, we weren't a match. When I called her on this, she was a bundle of excuses. She sent me a letter saying she would not be representing me in the case for my sister. She didn't say our contract was null, and I asked her to put that in writing. She refused. She flat out said that it had nothing to do with my questioning of her credentials...but what else could it have been? Just a coincidence that it happened after I questioned her and then 9 days passed with no response?!
All this time, I'm also cc-ing Simona Farrise, the head of the firm. She NEVER once replied to me. Now one would think that if one of her attorneys was having a problem with a client, she'd want to intervene...but she never did.

Though she is not a workers comp lawyer, Carla stepped in when my lawyer was engaging in unethical practices and got the results I needed in a surprisingly swift manner, considering I had suffered for more than a year with my prior "Workers comp Attorney".
She's AMAZING!

I have use Carla's services in several aspects of my business. As the CEO of a company that I acquired during mid-crisis, I needed an attorney with skills that I have not commonly found. She stepped in and executed projects quickly, efficiently and with a minimum disruption to the organization, interacting with management and staff at all levels without missing deadlines. I am now launching two other businesses which will require her specific skill set and have not hesitated in engaging her for those projects as well. Any organization needing a highly skilled professional attorney with unique methodologies and a good working attitude and ethic needs to engage Carla's help.
