My experience with the Harris Personal Injury law firm was professional but also very personal. Peter Bunnell provided very clear and concise explanations of the process in simple terms so I could fully understand. He patiently walked me through each step of the way keeping me informed and answering all my questions. More importantly, I felt as though I had a friend with my interest being the most important over all else. I truly felt his empathy and concern for me as a person. If one ever wanted to feel 100% trust in an attorney and law firm, I would highly recommend Peter Bunnell and the Harris Personal Injury team.

It was such a blessing to work with Derek W. and the rest of the team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. Going through something like this requires a lot of trust and I knew early on that I could trust Derek to do what was best for me. On January 24, 2020 I was riding my bicycle on the way to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas when I got hit from behind by a car. I was transported to Scripps Hospital a short distance away. X-rays revealed fractured vertebrae. The first attorney I contacted made an appointment for a consult in Downtown San Diego. I provided a written summary of the incident, but when I met with one of the firm's lawyers, that individual had no knowledge of my case. He hadn't seen my written summary and had not even been informed about the reason for my appointment. About a week or so after this initial appointment and after several attempts to re-contact the firm about my case, I received a phone call during which I was informed that my "best option" would be to pursue the matter myself in small claims court. Less than ten minutes after this call ended, I made a random call to the Harris firm. From the beginning, I was treated with dignity and respect and kindness. My primary contact, Kelci Nixon, was professional and thorough and extremely helpful. Her positive attitude, her prompt returning of my occasional calls, and her willingness and ability to answer questions was impeccable. From the beginning, every person I contacted at the Harris firm was cordial and professional and helpful. Based upon the first legal firm I contacted, it was reassuring to have found (by chance) people who were thoroughly prepared and willing to help. Exactly like Kelci, Derek Waldron was not just responsive, he was extremely thorough and prompt when it came to answering any and all questions. Every referral--from doctor's appointments to the MRI to the physical therapy facility in Carlsbad--proved to be not only adequate and appropriate, but excellent. This is a thank you note. I'm not only grateful for being alive after an incident which could have had much more horrible consequences, I will always be grateful for the work you've done on my behalf. If, at any time in the future, someone asks me to recommend representation for any legal matter, I will immediately recommend the Harris firm with no reservations whatsoever.
