A TRO was filed, full of heinous, false accusations against me. Joni took my case and was responsive in her communications. Like the others on here have said, it's evident she really cares about her clients. She's also surprisingly funny! On the day of the hearing, she cross examined the opposing party effectively, bringing all the holes in logic and truth to light. She also effectively objected to the torrent of lies spewing forth from the other side. At one point this person tried to involve my ex spouse, who was, by the judge's own words, "very motivated" to play along with the lies. The TRO was dismissed, along with the specter of criminal charges. Regardless of the outlandish claims made against me, Joni effectively handled them all. Definite recommend.

Joni was so awesome since day 1. My wife and I had some pretty major violations. Mine in particular was driving with a suspended license, unregistered vehicle, and no insurance. She was able to help get my charges completely dismissed and help get my wife's fines reduced by more then 50%. Joni also helped me when I was subpoenaed for another case. Not only was she able to help me in all the cases, but she was able to do it on a days notice and really helped calm my nerves while defending me and making sure I was ok. When I found myself in an unfortunate situation, I was worried and did not know what to do or where to go. Upon visiting my bail bondsman, I discovered that I was issued a felony for my first DUI. He recommended speaking with multiple attorneys sooner than later to start planning my case. He gave me a referral on a reputable "Big Law Firm" attorney, who I set up a free consultation with later that day. At first sight, her office wasn't as fancy as the gentleman that I initially met with and she did not have the stereotypical look with cliche decorations in her office as you may expect of an attorney. But then we began to speak. She looked me in the eye, listened to my story, took notes and let me speak. When she spoke back, she spoke to me like a human being and like a friend I have known for years. If one on one contact is important to you look no further! Ms. Eisenstein listens and makes sure you are never lost! SHE CARES! I received a traffic ticket back in October. I was driving down the road when I saw the yellow light turned red. I stepped on the breaks and came to a stop. However, there were two police officers on the sidewalk next to me arresting a homeless man. One of them came over knocked on my window and asked me to pull over for running a red light. The police officer said, "I know that only your front two wheels went over the white line, but I still have to give you a ticket for running a red light". I told him that the flashing on both of their police cars that distracted me. He responded, "yeah, I know that can be distracting, but most of the time when you see a lot of police cars on a sidewalk it's just a hobo, it's not a big deal." BUT HE STILL GAVE ME A TICKET! My boyfriend and I got online and started looking for traffic lawyers. That is when we found Joni. We called a dozen of other offices, but always received the same thing an automated voice machine or a secretary who would simply ask for us to fax over the ticket. In some places we couldn't even make an appointment or talk to the lawyer. When I called Joni it was a different experience. She answered and I was going to set up a meeting, but she took the time to explain everything to me over the phone (Which was awesome because I live in Hillcrest). The best trait about this lawyer is that she takes the time and effort to listen to her clients. She listened to my whole story and she then walked me step by step as to what was going to happen. She asked me to fax my ticket to her directly not an secretary! I received an confirmation email and call a few minutes after. I also received an email and call when she fax arraigned my ticket and when everything was resolved. I really felt fully aware as to what was going on with my ticket. This is the type of lawyer you want on your side! not only did she get my $350 dollar ticket dismissed, but made everything a stress free process! Call her NOW!

Today Joni was able to get our sons felonies reduced down to misdemeanors. She has been defending our son throughout the mistakes of his youth. We cannot say enough about Joni's expertise in the courtroom. She was able to show the judge how much our son has changed and learned from his mistakes. We highly recommend this attorney with confidence. She is smart, kind and a talented attorney. We are all so thankful for this outcome today.
