Chris Hewitt helped me file a chapter 13 bankruptcy 3 years ago and am now debt free after paying $250 dollars for the last 36 months. He was able to strip my 2nd mortgage which I owed 50k dollars to and get rid of 30k dollars of credit card debt. This cost me a total of 9000 dollars over 3 years. Every other attorney told me I should file a chapter 7 and he was the only one who gave me the option of doing a 13 and was able to explain how a lien strip is only available under chapter 13. He has been great counsel throughout this whole process, was always easy to get a hold of and took a lot of time to see this through the end. Chris reviewed my case, informed me of everything that was going wrong with my BK. He was positive about resolving my case with a good outcome. He stopped the motion on time so, I kept my house! I got out of debts and I owed NOTHING to the creditors. He’s an experienced lawyer with a lot of knowledge. I was dealing with Mr Lemus for over 3 months. Chris is a cool caring lawyer. He’s down to earth and listens. From start to finish he walked me through the whole process of my chapter 13 and how it works.
