Admittedly I don't have a lot of legal matters but I've been using Charlton Weeks for decades. That being said, all the business and personal matters that I have had were handled professionally. On the rare occasion that I need something that falls out of their expertise they have referred me to other lawyers who also did a great job. Highly recommended.

My experience with Charlton Weeks was simply flawless. The attorneys were brilliant and compassionate. The death in the family was quite hard on us but everything was handled without a hitch. I would recommend the firm of Charlton Weeks with complete convidence.

I just received a Request For Entry of Default from this attorney who is apparently representing the person that purchased our home through a foreclosure auction. We live in another state now, so I looked up this case number on the court paper and it is non-existent. How is this possible? Sounds fishy to me....

We used them for an eviction. We had two unmarried occupants we were trying to get rid of. On the first court date of the eviction process, one of the two declared bankruptcy so we had to go to federal court to clear the eviction process. This turned out to be a delaying tactic as the tenant never filed for bankruptcy. During the first court date at the time we were speaking with the judge, our attorney miscalculated the amount of rent due by several hundred dollars. We caught him and had a flurry of back and forth and the attorney gave the corrected amount. We reconvened when the federal judge authorized eviction. When we reconvened we knew that the tenant did NOT file for bankruptcy. Our attorney got a money judgment against the first tenant but not the second. He FORGOT! Now we can't sue the primary wage earner because they FORGOT to get a judgment. They are not returning our calls. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIRM. We now can not collect back rent from the primary wage earner who turned out to be smarter than our attorneys!!!
