Anthony Lai helped me navigate what seemed like an impossible situation with my ex-wife, who is an attorney. Thanks to him, I am in LA this weekend visiting my daughter. I am particularly grateful for his efforts to uphold my divorce decree and prevent it from going before a judge. He advised against my ex-wife’s attempt to seek an increase in child support. While I would have been content to drive to LA twice a month just to see my daughter, Anthony and the mediator (whom he knows well) recommended that we insist on upholding the divorce decree, allowing my daughter to visit Las Vegas once a month. We are now planning her visit in two weeks and preparing to celebrate her birthday. If there was ever a victory in this unnecessary hearing, Anthony certainly achieved it. Anthony Lai represented me with an issue I had collecting my full pension. My ex wife filed an inappropriate joiner on my pension. The pension attorneys were assisting my ex wife in filing a QDRO . I already had a court judgment giving me my full pension. The pension attorneys continued to assist my ex wife until Mr. Lai mentioned that by assisting her they were in contempt of court. Seemed nice at first but then before the case came up he started to ignore me and didn't follow through. The court didn't go very well as he forgot about what my case was about. I think he was too busy to work on my case but he took my money to represent me. I simply can't recommend this person to anyone.

Didn't properly understand the details of my case and left me hanging. I talked to other lawyers about his advice and behavior and universally they all advised he wasn't giving the best advice. Kept charging me for things I didn't want and I got fed up.

Bad attitude. Did not listen all the time. Rude manners. At first he will talk nice, but after a while he looses patience with you and becomes controlling.
