Erika was my second attorney during my divorce, which was not easy and lasted several years to resolve. She is very knowledgeable, well prepared, and is familiar with anticipating the Judge. I really got the feeling that she truly wants the best outcome and to resolve the situation with the best outcome as quickly as possible so as not to burn through my money needlessly by "fighting" with the other side and filing needless filings. She even was very amicable and professional to my X, who, also an attorney, was pleasantly surprised. I went from essentially no custody of my children to practically sole custody. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. And she's a nice person boot, making an already emotionally challenging and difficult situation, bearable. She is not inexpensive, rather she is worth it. I'm sure I would have paid much more for someone not as skilled, who just wanted to keep things going with the other side, instead of resolving things quickly and efficiently, while keeping my best interest in mind.

This attorney will prolong one's divorce because she wants to get paid and this is how she does it. The opposing council asked..."why haven't we terminated the marriage "? She said.. "I think its convenient for me and my soon to be ex-husband to continue to be marriage ". This way she will continue getting paid. She would tell me..."I working for you so, that you walk away with as much money" but this is when I realized that she was charging so much money and I was not saving any money. When I told her what she was doing to me, this is when she would be upset and would threatened me...."I think that we are not good fit and you should find yourself another attorney". Or whenever I would forget, or didn't understand, or would tell her that she was not doing what I was paying for her to do. This is when she would threatened me with dropping my divorce case after being with her for a year and half. She would do this throughout this whole year and half. She was a FAKE and would PRETEND to CARE about my SUFFERING. I regret the day that I hired her and the bad thing also is that she also has my name. We parted ways on May 21, 2021.

I couldn’t afford to hire this brilliant lawyer, however, I invested in a consultation that provided me with the knowledge, straight forward information I needed after hiring the wrong attorney who was over litigating, blowing smoke, and over charging. Erika understood the importance of trusting and having confidence in an advocate. She knew I was unhappy and she listened to my concerns, my situation and brainstormed a legal strategy that I was able to take to my new counsel. She is a fast thinker, a fluid speaker and highly knowledgeable all the while remaining sensitive knowing that family law can be a nightmare. I needed to begin the very cumbersome process of terminating paternal parental rights/obtaining full legal and sole custody of my daughter. I did a bunch of research on my own and had a healthy understanding of the laws and practice in California. When I began to look for legal representation I called 10 family law lawyers, 6 from large firms and 4 as referrals. More than HALF didn't even know you could terminate parental rights, a quarter told me it was too hard and to not even try, and the rest gave inappropriate advice to further their own business objectives. My final call was to Erika who was referred to me by a family friend, and was she a breath of fresh air! Not only did she know what I was talking about, she had experience in the matter AND was very matter of fact of the challenges, the opportunities and how she could represent me. I immediately put her on retainer and could not have been happier. She was always responsive, tactful, and just plain good. Her "tell it how it is" approach is refreshing, and when you are paying her a (well deserved) dollar, you want your interactions concise and informative. Erika does just that. When you are going through scary, uncertain, and such daunting matters as your child's well being you have to fully trust in the person representing you. She has been such a blessing that I have refereed her to my network and she has been hired by a friend in another case. I cannot say enough good things about her!

This review is long overdue. Erika helped my very close family members with their divorce. Their previous attorney had passed away, leaving the dissolution incomplete. Erika took care of everything so quickly and smoothly- it was the most seamless process I’ve seen. She’s absolutely lovely and a true pleasure to work with. I witnessed her work first hand and have recommended her to several others since. As an attorney, we tend to be particularly critical of colleagues and their quality of work. I have no hesitation in telling clients and friends that Erika will take care of them.

Erika is an amazing lawyer!! A very dear friend of mine recommended her to me while going trough a very hard time battling for child custody. She helped me in every way she possibly could. She was very caring and understanding. I dont know how I would have gone trough what I just did with out her. I went to her a shattered women broken and devastaded in every way. Erika is everything you could possibly ask for in a lawyer. She was exactly the support my wife and I needed during our difficult custody case. Divorce is never a pleasant situation in life. From the first day I had met Erika she made me feel comfortable with her knowledge of the law and put me at ease. Erika is amazing. When I first divorced, I signed the judgment without an attorney (big mistake). Years later, when my ex asked for more, I found Erika. Over many months, she patiently and knowledgeably guided me from initial advice on my rights all the way through a three hour court appearance that ended in a decision far better than what I had offered on my own to avoid court. The entire time she was incredibly considerate about being as efficient with her time (low cost) as possible. I have had other attorneys bill me for time they spent talking about their childhood - Erika is the opposite of that, but at the same time absolutely answered every question I had extremely thoroughly and promptly. The entire process was very stressful, but Erika went above and beyond providing support and motivation to keep going. I highly recommend her.

Erika was amazing from the first call through the court dates and till the end. She was able to provide sound advice and direction for our sticky custody case. She went above and beyond for us, even when the other sides attorney left to tend to another case she managed to navigate an agreement. Drew it up right there and had it filed for us.
