Matt is a great lawyer. Not only did he really go to bat for me, but he walked me through the entire court hearing, which I was very nervous about. He is very good at helping you understand what can otherwise be an intimidating process.

I got into a situation (Charged for vandalism) a little over two months ago. I met with Cargal and hired him to represent me. He adviced me not to attend court proceedings and represented me in all proceedings. Matt got the case completely dismissed on the 3rd day of court. I came across Matt because my boyfriend had gone to him in the past and got good results. I had couple of warrants because I didn't complete the classes that I needed to do for a DUI that I got. I had contacted different lawyers just to see how I felt about each one and to see what they would say my options were. When I spoke to Matt he made me feel like I was gonna be ok. Explained to me everything that I needed to know and explained what he could do to help me fix it. He removed my warrants and re instated my classes and everything that I needed to get done without me having to go to court. I got him another case for my uncle that had a warrant and was arrested and he went to court for him. He was able to get him one year probation when it was gonna be 3 years and some classes. I would like to begin by saying that recieving a DUI for the first time can get very stressfull. One can be clueless on the process and can have a very nerve racking experience if you do not know what do next.  Especially if you are going through a lot of personal issues during that time. Many people seem to decide to not go through the trouble on getting an attorney and accept the penalties they are given. However, I can not stress enough how important it is to get an attorney!  Especially a trusting and hardworking attorney like Matthew Cargal. His guidance and the ability to provide you with a stress free experience was beyond expectations. He did not only ease my concerns but provided me with faith and confidence that my case will have a positive outcome.  With complete satisfaction and happiness I write this review that my case was a success on significantly reducing many of the charges and penalities accompanying a dui case. If you need a honest, hard working attorney without costing an arm and a leg then Matt Cargal is the man for you. I needed a defense attorney and I came across his name. I first contacted him by email and he almost immediately called me. I told him about my case and he told me he will take it. Not only did he do most the work ,the stress level of the entire thing was at a all time low. He will try to come to an agreement with both parties BEFORE you even enter the court room (which he did for me). Overall he he helped me win my case however I did have concern about the other party retaliating against me. He said " if that happens call me and I will help you out again free of charge".
