Daniela deserves a whole hearted five stars. She is both professional in her knowledge and presentation, but comfortable and friendly. She hired well when choosing her assistant Melissa. I called first and asked some questions about exit planning for a business proposal. The issues included the types of debts and lease contracts that could be discharged under bankruptcy. The internet has some information but the details are a bit elusive unless you know what questions to ask. I asked a few more by email, and she suggested I just come in for a consultation. It always turns out for me that my questions require more than simple conversation. She spent over 70 minutes with me even though it was clear after our phone conversation that I did not need her attorney services in the near future. What a generous person. What I learned is that she has decades of experience, and I like this as I am sure that this translates into a wide network of other attorneys, judges, trustees, and other collaterals involved in this speciality of the law. With her easy going and friendly temperament, I am sure she has more of these relationships, and with better connectedness than most. Her office is humble and maybe a bit off putting in this way. But there is no doubt she can get the job done better than most.

I met with Ms. Romero to handle my BK case, she was very kind and understanding of my situation and advised on how to handle my case. She always answered my calls and e-mail in a timely manner, always professional, and always kept my updated on how my case was going. She is constantly going to classes and seminars to keep up on the latest trends in her field. I would recommend her to the highest degree. She also referred me to a trust attorney that turned out to be an excellent referral as well.

I recently the opportunity to sit down with Daniela Romero. She gave me very valuable information about many aspects of my business, especially how important it is for me to incorporate. I had a very challenging time during the recession, losing my full-time job while pursuing a Master's and there came a time where I simply "hit the wall" in my finances. In the midst of it, I also had a couple of incorrectly reported, disputed debts along with a couple of legitimate but ever so painful marks such as my believing my closing AT&T bill had been paid while actually have something like a $7 remaining balance!? Daniela was very kind, straightforward and compassionate in helping me through the final stretches of cleaning up my credit where the last one or two Collection Agencies were reporting negatively based on bad information and as a consumer, they essentially would not take me seriously. They took Daniela seriously and in a sense gave her professional courtesy that they would not afford me, allowing for removal of a negative report being removed. A few months later, I was checking my credit, talking to a Mortgage Lender about the CALHFA program, intending to simply inquire and I didn't realize my FICO score was already high enough to be approved for a CALHFA Mortgage! About 40-45 days later, I was a homeowner! Don't give up, people! You may have to learn to hold your peace as you fight through your challenges but do methodically chip away and you will begin to see light at the end of the tunnel. As you do, you'd be well served to have Daniela walk alongside you and help.

I found Daniela online after having a consultation with another attorney in preparation for filing Chapter 7. Daniela took the time to explain all of my legal options, was very patient in answering all of my questions, very thorough in combing through my financial information and background, and decided that Chap 7 was the best decision for my situation. She was with me EVERY step of the way, including attending the meeting with the Trustee after filing (NOT all lawyers do this personally, I learned, so I felt very well taken care of). Also, and this to me counts for the most, Daniela really does care about you as a client and has a trustworthiness and compassion that is very important when going through a tough financial/legal decision. At the same time, she is a thorough and tough attorney, meaning she will stand up on your behalf through the filing process. I am incredibly thankful for her help, and most highly recommend her if you are considering filing bankruptcy. It's not a fun process, and you need a pro lawyer who works for you personally.

I have been pleasantly surprised by an Attorney. After being taken for a ride by another Attorney in the middle of a bankruptcy I was surprised to find Ms. Romero. She is professional, knowledgable and quite empathetic. Guiding me through the process without and correcting the errors that were made by another with a lot of class. Dealing with such a stressful situation such as Chapter 13 BK was hard enough and we feel so blessed to have found Daniela Romero and her staff to help us get through it. She and her staff were hands on and answered all our questions. All my inquiries either by phone or email were answered immediately and we did not talk to processors that did not know our case but to Daniela directly and her very efficient assistant Amy. The filing of our Chapter 13 was so thorough that our 341 meeting went without any issues and she was right there with us. She was on top of our case throughout.
