We were blessed to come to discover Chris and the firm with the situation that we were dealing with. Words can't express the professionalism and family like atmosphere we felt with Chris. The way he assisted us with the problem that had haunting us the last 20 years left us speechless. Chris was an absolute God-send. After hours of research on local lawyers that held numerous awards, Chris was my top choice because of all the REAL reviews. I was able to walk into the court room with confidence knowing that we were going to win. Chris kept in constant communication with me throughout the entire year long court process, from texts, calls, emails to live meetings, the communication was never exempt. He listened and never rushed me off the phone. Our case wasn't just another number, he actually cared to FIGHT for us. Our family was facing a serious criminal charge that would have altered our entire lives if even given a misdemeanor charge. With Chris' hard work we were able to not only reduce the Felony charge but receive a complete dismissal. No plea, no negotiating. We got exactly what we needed. Chris and his firm's hard work helped keep our family together and provide a future for us. It's important to know that even in 2020, Chris commands a presence when he walks into the courtroom. He is always well dressed, well spoken, and tall. This cannot not be under-estimated when you're asking for him to fight for your life in court against other lawyers who are often meek, sloppily dressed and underwhelming. Not so long ago I was sitting right where you are…semi-frantically scrolling through listings and reviews, trying to figure out what attorney would be my best option to sort out this terrible mess I’d somehow found myself in. Just about the worst feeling there is. To make it worse, I’d just moved to LA and didn’t have even a single contact lined up to ask for a referral. So I get it…but hang tight! I can tell you without any reservation that you’ve found the right place. I have dealt with a few different attorneys over the years, and Chris Miller and associates were by far the most pleasant experience I’ve had. From the second I initially spoke to him on the phone, I felt a huge weight lifted that had been following me around like a dark cloud for days. If any of you have ever dealt with other attorneys you know some of them can be impersonal, dismissive, and leave you feeling like they’re better at squeezing every last dime out of you, than they are at actually representing your interests. Not so with Chris. He takes a personal interest in you, your case, your concerns, and most importantly: fighting for your best possible outcome. After speaking briefly with Chris on the phone and getting a very reasonable estimate for the cost of his services, I opted to come in and talk about the details in person. Chris fit me in with an appointment right away. After arriving I was seen right away, and he listened attentively to everything I had to say and asked detailed questions about the circumstances of my case. I was relieved to find he wasn’t condescending or judgmental in the least. Any questions I had were answered in detail. I was also impressed with Chris’s knowledge regarding the inner workings of local courthouses and jurisdictions. At the end, Chris laid out his plan of action moving forward and again asked if I had any questions or concerns. To top it all off, he then dropped his estimated price slightly without me even asking, based on some of the details I had provided. That sort of honesty and integrity is near impossible to come by nowadays! As the case proceeded, Chris handled all my court appearances etc and would simply update me via text when there were any developments. Throughout the entire process he was prompt to return the inquiries I sent his way, and really left me feeling like I was in good hands. I will also add that he was very accommodating on a payment plan that I could manage, which was another huge relief. But MOST importantly, at the end of it all - Chris attained the absolute best possible outcome for my case. Better than I had even hoped for! I was relaying all this to a friend of mine who went through something similar a year before. He shook his head and informed me he had paid his attorney almost twice what I had and they hadn’t done squat for him when all was said and done... I don’t often write reviews, but Chris Miller is the real deal and I’m eternally grateful to him and his crack team for saving me from being chewed up and spit out by the system. Go with Christopher Miller He is a professional that is a true 6-star attorney. I was very scared when I initially got charged, he was honest as he talked me threw my options which lowered my stress and showed me that he had my back. He fought for what I wanted and got 4 charges dropped. To keep things short, I am telling you if you choose Chris as your attorney you will be HAPPY WITH THAT CHOICE. So, I say choose to be happy. I just want you all to know.

I can't say anything negative about Chris. I hired another private lawyer from a big law firm who wasn't doing anything to help my case. I ended up firing him and hired Chris. He was willing to jump into my case right away and definitely had my best interest in mind. He was able to change the judges mind by overturning a previous decision and got me into the military diversion program. He also convinced the judge to prevent my guns from being destroyed.

UPDATED REVIEW (3+ years after case): Chris Miller represented me in 2019 for a shoplifting case. Embarrassingly, this was not my first time in court so I was concerned I was going to get a harsher punishment. I hired Chris because he was the only attorney who took the time to discuss my case in detail without being too pushy about hiring him. He was also the most reasonable attorney and always replied to my questions even before I hired him. He also exudes competency and made me feel like everything was going to be ok. He did an excellent job on my case and even got the case dismissed after I did a bit of community service. I was pleasantly surprised at how well he was able to make a deal with the DA. He said he has good relationships with the courts; in this case, it was Alhambra court. He is incredibly professional yet personable. Last night I realized I need information on that case since I'm living out of state and shifting careers and need criminal background information for licensing. I left a message around 11 pm on his website and received a text message around 7 am today with the information I need. His assistant is even going to the court to get me certified copies of the case at no charge. This is such a big help considering courts can take forever for document requests and being out of state added to the difficulty in getting those documents. I highly recommend him! MY ORIGINAL REVIEW IN 2020: Chris has been excellent since the beginning. I had a good feeling about him when I had a phone consultation with him and he gave me lots of information but also was not pressuring me to hire him. He said at the end of the phone consultation that even if I don't hire him, feel free to call him with any questions. I found him on Thumbtack and he got back to me instantly and called me as soon as I gave him my phone number. He gave me an excellent price, slightly lower than some other competing attorneys. I wanted to know him more before deciding to hire him so he met with me at his office to discuss the situation further. He is an excellent listener and it really felt like he genuinely cared about me. Of all the attorneys I consulted with, I truly felt he was the least pushy. With everyone else, it felt like as soon as they gave me their price, they wanted a yes or no answer. With Chris, it felt like he was willing to give me information and let me think about it with no pressure. His office is in a very nice building in Pasadena. It's a shared office space with attentive secretaries and a spacious, very upscale meeting room. The secretaries are willing to make copies and they were friendly. In terms of results, I was very pleased with the outcome. Also, Chris made the deal on the arraignment date! I didn't even know that was possible. So the case was very fast and a great outcome. Chris was so nice as to honor the lowest price estimate he gave before we made a contract. On the contract, we assumed I may have had a more complicated case. Luckily it was a lot more simple than it could have been. Therefore, he gave me a partial refund for the price adjustment after the day he made a deal for me with the court. I think that's so awesome he did that. I felt cheap asking about it but he was so quick to honor the lower price. Overall, it's been an excellent experience with Chris and I highly recommend him.
