Last year I was injured in a hit and run car accident in Los Angeles. The other driver rear ended my vehicle on the freeway and fled the scene. Initially, I had no intention to hire a personal injury attorney and decided to make the claim myself with my own insurance company under my uninsured motorist coverage. After a few weeks of dealing with the adjuster, I realized that the last thing my insurance company cared about was helping me get the proper medical treatment to recover from my injuries.
