I had a wonderful experience with Litwin&Smith. On the surface my case was simple. I have been a legal resident of the United States for over 40 years ( Green Card holder) so easily qualify for citizenship . The complication lies with the fact that I work primarily outside of the US and travel a lot . Donald Smith provided me with strategic guidance on how to manage both; get a citizenship without damaging my professional international career . His business partner Mark Litwin was wonderful in preparing me for the interview and following it afterwards. The entire office crew was dedicated and professional ...and with great "people skills" badly needed in moments of frustration and long waits. Though I live ion the East Coast and the company is on the West Coast I never felt that the distance was impeding our communications a sign of both professionalism and as I said great "people skills". and warmth . I had a fantastic experience with Litwin &Smith . My case was originally transferred from old law firm as the Attorney retired and since then Litwin & Smith have been handling all consulting's for our co. They have assisted me with H1-B transfer, extensions and full Perm process. Mr. Donald and team (I worked mostly with Mandy Fok) go in every detail during the filling process and cover systematically all the required documents and requisites which are requested as per the USCIS norms. I had also the chance to see my fillings and it was really worth seeing how all the case document/information is collated and well organized to be dispatched. I can tell that it is not an easy job and presenting the Technical content with color coding and apply index pages for referencing was done very neatly. I was very happy with their prompt responses and all my email queries would usually be answered within a days’ time. Also when we begin a filling process and we had initial queries we usually would have a call with Mr. Donald to understand and clarify all the details of the process and plan ahead which helped us give the right kick start. The team at Litwin & Smith provided me fast and high quality immigration legal services. Their great work leads to two consecutive approved petitions of I-140 and I-129 within 6 months for me. As the leading lawyer, Donald is super professional and he gave highly effective strategies in 10 minutes for my special immigration needs. Other staff at Litwin & Smith are always highly responsive on the email. Almost all of their replies were within a few hours. They never push unnecessary work to me or my employer and made convincing suggestions for essential evidence/documents. They paid great attention to details when reviewing all the documents. For example, they pinpointed the insufficient term for one of my document and this key observation eventually lead to a much longer approval term for I-129 petition, which saved money and time for my employer and me. The entire process to work with Litwin and Smith was very pleasing, and more importantly, effective.

It was an absolutely terrific experience working with Litwin and Smith. I had initially got to know Donald through an old employer who was filing for my visa. After having been let go from the employer, Donald continued to answer any questions I had around finding a new employer and the timing around how long I had, to find a new employer given the new rules that were being updated quite frequently. After having found a new employer, the employers were a bit jittery about the whole immigration visa process. Litwin and Smith had to work with my current employer and explain about the immigration process to my employers when they had contacted Litwin and Smith about my employment after having been laid off and the steps that had to be taken and calming their nerves about the whole process which led to me being currently working and employed with the current company. They also had to explain about the whole PERM and H1B renewal process as I did not have a whole lot of time left on it and explained it well to my current employers and got things moving and approved in quick time!

I have had the privilege of working with carol on a divorce case that ended in 2016. I received a letter from my ex's attorney and PANICKED that we were going back to court. I ran the scenario by Carol and we talked about what it might mean. She calmed my nerves and put things into perspective and said " just ask him"..which I did..and it had nothing to do with taking me back to court but removing a lien from his home !
