Robert was referred to me by a friend, who also happens to be an attorney, but who didn't specialize in the issues and laws regarding caregiver employment that Robert does. My mother had a conflict with a former employer as a caregiver, and when we met with Robert, he was able to see a much bigger picture of that issue, helping my mother win a settlement after mediation with the other party, all while avoiding a full blown lawsuit and trial. He is friendly, and witty, yet tactful, and clearly has a stellar understanding of employment laws, making it very easy to trust his judgment, which overall, made the whole process much less stressful than it could have been. Not having gone through anything like this before, he was very open about what to possibly expect every step of the way, giving plenty of explanation to the moves he was making in dealing with the other party, without being pushy, and letting my mother know that she had options in however she wanted to pursue the matter. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone!

Robert is an excellent employment attorney that directly helped me resolve a significant back wages issue. Since it was a significant amount of money I interviewed 4 attorneys and selected Robert (the last one that I spoke to) for several reasons including -- he was a straight talker, he clearly spelled out the employment law to me and the legal remedies I had available to me, plainly discussed the various alternative approaches that I could take, and let me know the upsides and downsides of each approach, and finally suggested how to maximize the upsides and minimize the downsides.
Through numerous iterations with Robert on the legal documents, including him guiding me through legal steps to protect myself in case the former employer reneged on their commitments, I reached an agreement with the former employer to pay me all my back wages. In the end, all worked out fine as all back wages were paid to me over time and I believe the legal documents Robert helped to prepared were the exact leverage that I needed.
Additionally, he was very responsive to my phone call and emails, and our face to face meetings were always productive.
Bottom line I would highly recommend Robert as an employment attorney.

A long, long time ago (2006 time frame) Robert was the second lawyer I consulted with on an issue with possible conflict of interest. He listened intently to my story, restated it to me in his own words making me sure that he understood the issue then made suggestions on how to handle the issue. Since then, he has been our corporate lawyer and every legal agreement we enter in to gets reviewed by him first. He is very quick and thus is economical. So again, only contact him if you want a great lawyer.
