I hired them in 2016, never meet nor spoken to Ray Wang within the 2 years I have called so many times and have spoken to a Para-legal which I was told maybe twice. I would call for an update and was told the person that is handling my case is out and was told to leave a voice message I did. I'm still waiting for a call. I had to look around for another Attorney and was happy to find one to accept my case due to having to split they payment which im completely against. I wish my current attorney was able to get and keep it all. this Attorney didn't do anything for my at all. never received any updates, Doctors reports.

Currently have a case open since December of last year. I call and do not receive a return phone call until weeks later. I have never been able to speak to the attorney, and I am constantly talking to someone new. There is not a specific staff member that can give me an update on my case. I talk to someone new every time I call to get an update. I don't feel anytime soon my case will be settled as the customer is not a priority. I will report to the better business bureau.

I have a open case with Ray Wang,I called them several times and no one can give any answers. I drove to their office and I was told they couldnt attend me without appointment. My case is almost a year old and I am very concern that will run out of time with the status of limitations, which is 2 years ofter the accidents. I will never reccomend this firm ever!

Worst experience ever. Insufficient staff. They use outside attorneys, one of whom directly informed me that they often let cases fall through the cracks. Mine was one of those. Completely unprofessional and I am amazed they are still in business.

There service was horrible..worst experience I've ever encountered.. There professionalism was not even close to satisfactory.. I have a case there and I will never recommend this attorney to anyone..I couldn't get ahold of anyone regarding my case to let me know what was going on..the girls in the office would claim to be out of the office on a daily basis. So one time I had someone call right back and claim to speak to the same girls on opening a new case and they got on the phone when I was told they weren't in.. NEVER GO TO THIS LAW FIRM!! the attorney will not speak to anyone unless he's told its urgent and you're opening a new case.. Never met this attorney before I had an open case with another attorney and I was never told my case would be handled by another attorney..but they're the same girls working the office!!

He went to work, this Attorney is so extremely intelligent and brilliant. The defense try to settle for 7,000. Peter and his team settlement for 50,000! well worth the case. Thanks so very much!

Mr. Solimon - I really can not thank you enough. I am so glad I was referred to you. I never imagined I would need to file for work comp - you and your team were so helpful and patient with me. Thank you so much for everything. I am still in shock by how much you got me to resolve my case and the fact that I also got a retraining voucher. You and you team have truly changed my life. Thank you!

He charge me a flat fee to resolve my case and that's what he did; other places charge you per hour besides the charge of reviewing your case and then the hidden fees start popping up. Loved the fact that he was very clear in explaining how my case was going to go, what was he going to do for me and he kept me informed throughout the length of my case.

Excellent Service. They were attentive and explained step by step what was happening with my case. They don't charge per hour like some attorneys and gave me a great price. There service is great and they keep me updated with my court dates and information.

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Pomona, California?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
