I had a difficult employment case that was turned down by others because they thought there wasn't enough money in it to be worth it to them. Barbara understood the case and took it for the merits and with the idea of righting a wrong for me. There wasn't a big financial payout in the end but I was given the closure that I needed and after apologizing to her, she assured me that was her end goal for the entire case. It was nice to see a personal and human touch applied to an industry where it can seem so cut throat and greedy.

I was terminated from my job for what I believed to be reasons based on the fact I was a female and for whistleblowing activities. Barbara fought for me and ended my case in a settlement (the details of which I cannot discuss) that made a difference and forced the organization to take notice of their policies and the wrongs they committed.
