Sam and his team of professionals did an excellent job of putting together my Trust and Estate Plan. They were very good about walking me through the whole process, and patient with my hundreds of questions, did everything in a timely manner and the cost was good. Everything was done much to my satisfaction. Great job

Patience, understanding, complete respect to our individual estate planning situation and desired goals. We just felt really comfortable and confident with Mr. Price throughout the entire process. With all the estate planning lawyers available, using Avvo as our primary research tool, we knew from our very first consultation with Mr. Price that we had selected the right legal consul for our estate planning needs. We do not routinely respond to survey requests or provide reviews, but Mr. Price definitely earned our time to provide him this review. Thank You to Avvo and Thank You to "Sam".

They were very helpful for a probate case, taking the time to explain everything to us. In the end, we decided not to go through with it. They gave us a full refund of our deposit, not charging us for the time they had spent with us. I would recommend Price Law Firm.

I found Mr. Price to be very knowledgeable in his area of real estate. He was able to expertly resolve a real estate issue by helping me even on a weekend. For that, he definitely earned my kudos. I would definitely do business with him in the future.

I am a well seasoned, ( 30 plus years ) business owner , operator and building contractor. During my career I had the need to avail myself of professional legal service and consultation on occasion and for a variety of issues . In all of my experience with legal professionals / Lawyers , I have never experienced one with the exceptional professionalism, knowledge, courtesy and attention to detail as Mr. Price . He listens to the client patiently and carefully, enhanced only by the fact that he vividly recalls relative and often crucial circumstances surrounding whatever the client's current circumstances might be. I cannot say enough to explain the high regard I have for Mr. Price and the level of quality legal counsel I received for a very fair and competitive fee .

Mark Flory s the Court appointed attorney for my sister and has been for several years. Over this time frame I have personally witnessed and observed his Court room ethics and decorum .At no time does he attempt to deceive or disrespect the Court or my sister. If the Conservatee's rights have been abused ,neglected , or suspticion thereof he is alert and on the ball and will stop it.There have been times that even I wanted my own way and he took the time to listen to me and pointed out that even though it may have been what I wanted but was it exactly right for her.And doing so without coping an attitude .Overall, I would recommend him not solely on my personal experience (because everybody's story is never identical to another's) but coupled with his creditinals ,which are outstanding( rated by anyone who has a brain)together he's a solid choice.

We had been searching for an attorney to represent us in a dental malpractice case for 6 months . No one would take our case, we were very discouraged. My husband had been suffering with constant pain from a tooth that had been worked on 3 times. We finally decided to try another dentist. We discovered, that our pervious dentist had neglected to inform my husband of a broken instrument left in his tooth which had been causing the pain and discomfort he had been experiencing.. My husband was told the tooth had to be removed and he would need a implant. Without any hesitation, Mr. Ferraris represented us and we settled out of court. Thanks to our attorney Mr. Ferraris, we were able to get my husband's implant taken care and he was compensated for his pain and suffering. We highly recommend Mr. Ferris for any legal need.

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Redlands, California?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
