While my case was likely not unique, it was riddled with conflict between my ex and I and if left unchallenged, I would have been left spending very little time with my 3 1/2 year old son and paying an exorbitant amount of child support. I turned to Elisabeth and honestly, it was the best thing I could have done! She truly cared about my case and fought for the best outcome possible . . . not only for me but for my son as well. I ended up with joint legal and joint physical custody, having my son every weekend which is 3+ days, not 2! Elisabeth responded to all my emails and phone calls in a timely manner and always made me feel as though she cared. I absolutely recommend her!

When I came to Elisabeth I was on the verge of giving up after my previous attorney told me to "just settle" after almost a year and half of a support/custody modification. Not only did she completely turn around the legal strategy, she brought me hope again. We ended up at trial and Elisabeth was truly stellar. By the time she was done questioning my ex even the judge called him "not credible". Without Elisabeth I could not have gotten through this ordeal; neither legally or emotionally. As we know divorces are never enjoyable and who really comes out totally satisfied? My divorce dragged on almost 7 years and I was completely insane and full of anxiety ! During this time I actually went through a few good attorneys and when the separation got serious I chose this firm. I was represented by Elisabeth Lord whom I highly recommend. Honestly at first I was skeptical, she operates calm, subjective, and realistic from the start. At the time this was not what I wanted I wanted a tiger I wanted to make some noise I had unrealistic expectations and felt of course that I was on the losing end mostly because I felt my spouses attorney was dominant , loud, and more experienced. Feeling this way I drove everyone crazy, family, friends , the whole entire firm. (but Elisabeth's approach was sophisticated and effective ) I don't know how they tolerated me, but Elisabeth was an Angel, she guided me and helped me to understand the process, explained everything thoroughly so I I was able to make rational sensible decisions which in my frame of mind was not an easy task since I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut long enough to actually let her speak I just couldn't see past all of my anger and resentment. Looking back compared to allot of divorces mine wasn't even that difficult but I was, so I must praise the most wonderful paralegal in the world Jessica Diaz! Jessica literally had to deal with my insanity daily, if it wasn't for her patience I would not have made it through.

Elisabeth has been my divorce lawyer for nearly 3 years and she makes me feel at ease with an uneasy life event.
