Just say, I wish we didn’t need her but glad she was there in our time of need.

Esther has to be the most straightforward, honest and hardworking lawyer I’ve ever had / met in my life. I was facing another strike with 2 prior felonies on my record, one being a violent strike and Esther was able to handle my case EXTREMELY fast which she was able to get all charges dropped / dismissed. After many nights of stressing out, worried about catching a charge on my record which could have ruined my life, I can now sleep comfortably knowing that I’m able to continue to be a contributing member of society. Thank you Esther for being so caring and honest during my entire case!

They hang people, don't defend anyone but themselves. Should be investigated.

I have been trying to get hold of my lawyer for almost a month now still no call back no email no txt.. what is going on!!!

As many know, San Mateo is a place with a 98.7% conviction rate. If you get a charge in this county you will be taking an L. The Private Defender program is supported by the county and I do not feel like you get a fair deal from any of their lawyers. In pre-court meetings your fate is decided before you ever get to present a case. Do your own research, have bail money, and speak up for yourself. San Mateo is one of the preeminent places for "justice" in Northern California. Do your best to stand out from the crowd that these people are leading to the slaughter. Otherwise you will find yourself with something I. Your jacket that you did not necessarily do, according to the terms of Law. Don't just law down and take something because these people aren't used to accepting loses.

She only cares about the money doesn’t do more than she has to, she’s not friendly, she does not take her time with the clients, does not listen to what one has to say. If you have any other questions about the case after it’s resolved she will not answer her phone or return calls.
