RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM MR EXUM ! He will only try and cut a deal where it lands you in prison even if the case is a misdemeanor. My cousin made the mistake to pay him upfront in full and is facing prison time for a first time offense .

I hired mr Exum for my criminal case. He was very rude to me. His communication was horrible. He’d say he’d call me never would. He even at one point told me to find a new attorney and hung up in my face after I paid half of my retainer fee. He moved my court dates without my knowledge. I don’t feel as if he really fought for me considering my case was a weak one and I’ve never been in trouble. I walked away with a felony and I’m only 24 years old. He also left me after I was convicted in court to figure everything out on my own. He wasn’t trying to help me win he just wanted to get a plea deal and be content with himself. Find a better attorney.

I hired Mr. Exum due to criminal charges against me. I learned with him to never again pay some one completely before getting what you paid for. After paying him I never saw him, or talked with him till court days. He wasn’t reachable by phone, I left numerous messages. There were two occasions were I’m sitting in court and his secretary came and told me he wouldn’t be there. That some one else would be standing in for him. It got to the point that dealing with him was worse than the case it’s self. They were charging me with four felonies strikes. I was looking at ten years in prison. After dealing with him for nine months I hired a real lawyer. I ended up with work release, and informal probation. In my gut where I live I feel he had given up and was going to make a deal for me to do time. I wouldn’t recommend, refer, or hire him.

I hired Mr. Exum to represent my brother on serious felony charges. Not only did Mr. Exum get the case resolved, but he got my brother the charges reduced and no jail time. I am very pleased with his staff and his professional conduct. He is an outstanding attorney!

This particular attorney was hired. In our case he did a horrible job with representation. When he spoke in court he always had an attitude. By the way he represented our case, it was apparent that he did not care. I am quite surprised he managed to keep his job this long. I would never recommend him nor would I ever hire him again. The level of professionalism based on the way he spoke and represented us is a very low three. I feel as if I could have done a better job.

I hired him to help out with what was supposed to be a minor case, well wasn't so minor once he did not do his job. I would not hire him to represent my dog.
