Our family had never been involved with the Court System before, let alone a Criminal case. One of our young adult children was falsely accused by an unscrupulous liar and family member. Our former defense attorney gave us false hopes that the case would be dropped due to lack of evidence and he failed to explain to us the severity of the case if the charges weren't dropped. Unfortunately, the charges were not dropped. We needed the help of a great defense attorney to keep my son out of jail, to protect his life and his future as we were headed for trial. In my search for a defense lawyer, I came accross a well know criminal defense attorney, Ambrosio Rodriguez. who referred me to the Law offices of Greenberg and Greenberg. Following up on his recommendation, I immediately contacted Greenberg and Greenberg and it was the best decision I have ever made. Phil and Dan Greenberg made time for us on the same day I contacted them as they sensed the urgency of the case. Prior to meeting with them, I did not see a way out; I was full of anxiety, filled with negative thoughts and always in panic mode. Upon speaking with Dan and Phil about the case, they made us feel confident that they would defend my son to the best of their abilities, they knew the legal system, they had the experience, and they knew how the other side worked as they had both been former District attorneys. Dan Greenberg was the lawyer that represented my son. Dan was a great listener, great advisor and was always there when we needed him, we always felt better after leaving his office. Eventhough there were no promises made, we felt that Dan Greenberg was the right defense attorney for our son. Not only was Dan professional and approachable but so was the entire staff at the law firm. If I had an urgent question and Dan was in court or unavailable, someone from the office would always follow up. After several months of representing us, Mr. Greenberg was able to have one of the 2 charges dropped, and the final outcome was a plea agreement that included a probationary period in order to avoid any jail time that would have placed our son in danger. I am so thankful to this law firm. My brother had serious accusations and during the time my brother was goin thru the worse of this accusations I had to leave to deployment. Hired this law firm last year after being charged unexpectedly. I had never been in a situation like this and although I qualified for court appointed attorney I wanted to make sure I was getting the best representation around.
