Solving an immigration difficult case is challenging for any lawyer; However, with attorney Nasim the impossible becomes possible due to the the considerable experience and expertise she has in this field. As matter of fact, my case was rejected at the first time and then things started to get more complicated. At that point Nasim told me that my case might get forwarded to the court within 30 days. Yet, Nasim said that she will definitely adopt the further actions needed to ensure justice is being taken place. She’s a good fight, actually no , she’s is the best fighter seeking for the truth ! I was not expecting at all receiving a mail of approval for my case which was supposed to be forwarded to the court. Nowadays, even the absolute truths needs to be fought for strongly. Thank god for having me met with such a person like Nasim and thanks Nasim for everything.

I’ve lived in Los Angeles for the past three decades. I arrived here when I was only twenty one years old from the Philippines, I did not have any proper documentation. Within my time here, I got married and had 4 beautiful children. Everything was great until I received a deportation letter from immigration. We were so worried, we thought about what would happen to my two young children if my husband and I were to get deported. We desperately sought help from several lawyers hoping that they would be able to remove the deportation status. Most of them gave us hope and asked for a down payment but towards the end they told us that my case was so complex they wouldn’t be able to help me. Until one day, I went to the office of American Law Center at Riverside, and my attorney Nassim Arsani gave me hope again. She fought hard for my case and never gave up, I was finally able to obtain my green card. She was very detailed and specific in explaining the process of my case. She also made sure that we communicated regularly and explained the technique she used to approach my case. I was so relieved that I finally found someone who was willing to be there for me even though my case was complicated. With her hard work it only took two years to receive my green card, and I didn’t need an immigration interview. I'm so thankful for attorney Nassim Arsani and her team. If it wasn’t for them, I would have been deported to the Philippines. Even though the Philippines is the country I was born in, I’ve spent most of my adult life here in America. The last time my husband and I were in her office, my husband took pamphlets to give to friends, family and coworkers. Her office is located in Riverside and it's an hour and half drive from LA but it was so worth our time. She would fight for your case no matter how complicated. The Lawyer that is there for you every step of the way and dedicated to your victory! Attorney Nassim Arsani is currently working on obtaining my passport. I will update everyone, hopefully with good news!

I am an American citizen married to a Guatemalan woman. We have been living in the U.S. these past 7 years and Guatemala before that. My wife and two children were born in Guatemala and have had green cards to live in U.S. legally for years. I came to Nassim Arzani for assistance in naturalizing them. Nazzim told me she had a procedure that was not well known that could result in immediate issue of a U.S. Passport. I was skeptical but we proceeded with her plan. And BINGO, the kids had their citizenship and U.S. Passport in around one month! Read that again: ONE MONTH! When it says on her business card "Nazzim Arzani, Certied Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law," it's not just a slogan but the way she practices law! Thank you Nazzim! My kids are all American kids and we couldn't be happier!

Thank you Nassim and her team. They're very professional and friendly. They always answer my question. After my case was denied few years ago. After reading several reviews, I decided to visit Nazzim. She was very honest with me at the beginning with my case. She said that it was a difficult case and the chances that I might have to get approved or denied. She got me approved and I got my work permit. I am so thankful to her for her professionalism and knowledge. Thanks

She has helped me in so many ways I can sleep at night now. Husband had a difficult case thoighy he had his visa and didn't . And we were told by another lawyer he would have to stay in Mexico till everything was done. Nassim and Elsa said no he didn't and helped us to take care of his case. I recommend this law firm to anybody that needs help. I saw Nassim at LAX on Facebook when everything started to happen and I knew she was the lawyer for us . Thank you so much and I can't thank you enough .

Tom Jacobson was hired to address several HR issues involving the termination and untimely retirement of employees. He was prepared, professional and extremely attentive to details. Tom kept the company officers in the loop and made excellent suggestions which made a very unpleasant situation work out smoothly. We've kept him on retainer.

I gave him a call because I had tried talking to A LOT of law offices, I felt that no other offices were giving me any positive feedback nor were they returning my calls. Charles was the only one that would worked with me on traveling all the way to joshua tre, ca and gave me the faith I needed because he knows the law and he was so professional and I would not have anybody else besides Charles Kenyon. Hope anyone whose looking for justice to have your back, to go see Charles.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Riverside, California?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
