Where do I start… Albright Family Law group from day one have been very straightforward, honest, and knowledgeable about my situation and just family law in general. When I did my initial call to ask question they were very honest about what to expect. I started in October and by December I had my full custody and was awarded what I was fighting for. Lynnell and Mary; along with other staff are very quick to respond to you and keep you updated with the entire case. They are very professional. Also a lot of these comments do mention their cost quite often. Which is true, they may be pricey (in my opinion I believe it’s on case basis) however, for how fast they are, how helpful and what they will do for you, they are very worth it. I was very stressed out but my lawyer was with me the entire way communicating with me and making sure we have every detail for my case. I am extremely happy with this law firm! After my son's mom wrongfully went to court and tried to reduce her child support payments i began looking for someone to help me. i spoke with several attorneys before Mr. Austin. We spoke and his answers to my questions were straight to the point and his fees were reasonable. Once I retained his services he immediately got to work on developing a strategy to position my case to convince the judge. Within a few days of hiring Mr. Austin we had a fully completed plan that we presented in court. What stood out was Mr. Austin's professionalism and desire to get it right. We worked side-by-side getting evidence, reviewing documents and writing up declarations. His process was very easy to follow and documents were quickly filed with the court. I came to Mr. Austin after working with a paralegal who took my money but did nothing to help my case. After going back and forth in court for more than two years I didn't understand the process and did not know what to do to correct the situation. I lost faith in the process going it alone. The last hearing by myself is where the court wrongly gave sole legal custody to the other parent. My ex took advantage of me but I was unable to get the court to believe me. I was crushed and didn't know what to do but I knew the court's order was wrong. Luckily, I found Mr. Austin and I trusted him. After spending time discussing my case and reviewing documents Mr. Austin found the court's mistake. Next we found the laws showing why the court's last order giving the other parent sole legal custody was wrong. He then worked directly with me to create a clear declaration exposing the error in my case. The only thing he asked was that I be patient. In court the judge complimented our filings for being well written and thorough. Still, the court was slow in making a ruling and Mr. Austin only asked that I be patient with him while he listened to my frustrations with the process. My ex hired a very aggressive attorney to fight and further the "story" that caused me to lose joint custody of my son. At our last court hearing, Mr. Austin clearly showed the court its previous mistake giving my ex sole legal custody. The court vacated the earlier order and granted me joint legal custody of our son. At last, I was relieved to know that I had done nothing wrong and the process was working. Without the right lawyer on my side the error was not going to be corrected. I can only say that Mr. Austin's team always gave me a sense of hope and a clear idea of what we faced each step of the way. As I listened to him I was confident we were doing the right thing. Clearly, the court understood and accepted our side of the case and gave me back my son. If you're choosing an attorney they must be smart, confident and committed to you and your case. Otherwise, it's a waste of money. Mr. Austin is all of these. If I have any other family law matters, or people seeking for an attorney, Mr Austin is my go to for family law.
