Throughout my case, Paul Paul Hoybjerg was the leading attorney on my behalf; the way he said the firm operates was when there is any case, the entire law firm discusses a plan to pursue further action. There were so many variables that had to be accounted for in my case and Paul was proactive, thorough and critical of all details. The entire case took close to a year and throughout that time, Paul always kept me up to speed with any new details or plan of action involving the case; also, he was always available whenever I needed to reach out. My case was a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and car. I was on a motorcycle and the other party was in a car; I collided with the car and broke my femur being in this accident. The case was entirely against me because of here-say from the opposing party involved; I was completely incapacitated due to my injuries from being in an accident so at the time, I was not able to deliver a statement. On the police report, the police officer stated everything that the opposing party had delivered as a statement which was I was speeding and that it looked as though I lost control of my bike. So operating off this point, the police report put myself as the cause of the accident. To set the record straight, I'm a very experienced rider and I was safely riding on my way back to work. The opposing party was trying to throw me under the bus even after the injuries I sustained which from a human to human level is nonsensical, but I guess some people would do anything to not take responsibility. Paul overturned the decision that the insurance companies were going to initially pursue operating off the police report. In the end, the opposing party was negligent in unsafely making a turn which was unavoidable for me to maneuver out the way almost costing my life. The other party was at fault based on the details which had to be proven by Paul. I won the case and earned the maximum settlement offered by the opposing insurance company. This experience was life changing. I still to this day feel the effects of that accident physically and mentally. That was the lowest point I've been in my life because I couldn't go to work or leisure. Once Paul called be with the verdict, I was honestly in disbelief and from that settlement-it was also life changing- To everyone reading this, I've been only able to portray a fraction of went on in this case because of the complexities.
