The outcome was much better than I could have hoped for fighting on my own, especially considering my transmission issues were not diagnosed until 4 years after owning the car and in the last 10,000 miles of warranty. I initially contacted another lemon law firm around my area, and their advice was to go and get another repair attempt at the Toyota service center (even though I knew nothing would get done). I contacted David just to see what he thought of my case and he felt it would be worth my while to pursue since I had already went through arbitration through NCDS and they denied me buyback due to "client unable to demonstrate problem with vehicle" even though my car still had the same issue (fuel tank not filling all the way in rav4 hybrid). David was very professional and articulate on the phone, and I appreciated that he understood the field well and explained to me all the details in pretty much every step (he also had worked in the past as an attorney for car manufacturer so he has experience on both sides). He kept me up to date on his communications with the other side and his thoughts and I always felt informed on the process. Overall, my case finished with settlement in my favor, and Toyota paid me back my payments/tax/interest I made on the car and paid off my car loan as well as paid for David's attorney fees (I believe most lemon law cases have the manufacturer pay the lawyer fees). I'd definitely recommend a consultation with David to see if you have a strong case for lemon law or whether you need additional steps, he will let you know if its worth both your time to pursue a case or at the least help guide you in the direction to get you your car fixed or replaced.

I found myself battling GM regarding a reoccurring transmission issue with my 2017 Yukon. After weeks of fighting with GM, came to the end of the road. My wife and I had already traded in our potential lemon and bought another truck from the same car company. We’re loyal and figured we got a bad apple, uh lemon. I was referred to David Goldsmith by another attorney regarding my lemon law case for my 2015 Honda, and he was very enthusiastic about taking on my case. Throughout my time working with David, he was extremely thorough, professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and assured me as a new mom with a newborn in the middle of summer the concerns I had regarding my vehicle were valid even after Honda had tried to previously invalidate them. My wife & I were being forced by Chrysler into horrible buyback program for our 2015 Jeep Renegade which would have left us upside down until I found a blog from David - no other firms would take the case but he did and saved us from a really bad deal.
