Elaine is a very experienced family law attorney. She is much more than a lawyer and is adept in navigating through your personal crisis. An attentive listener that gets to core issues and drives to workable arrangements. The outcome can be a win win situation and Elaine strives to get to that solution set through various resources at her disposal. She stays engaged so the case does not languish. I made contact through a referral and I was very glad to have Elaine successfully represent me and make a case that was very durable!

She took the time to explain what the procedures of the court would be and she took excellent notes of my story and why I wished to use her for my attorney. Elaine Van Beveren and her Para-Legal Mariyln Strong provided efficient and effective first class services to complete a long pending divorce settlement. The case was straight forward with no conflicts, and Elaine dispatched the task efficiently and effectively without unnecessary charges or complications. Her fees were fair and forthright, and it was a pleasure to work with everyone in her office.

Elaine did a great job of explaining the law, and explaining the cost vs. reward of pursuing various claims. She will warn you if you are considering litigating an issue that you are likely to lose, or one that will cost more than the amount of money or property in dispute, and she will give you the pros and cons of everything as you go through the process. She also made sure I didn't fall into the trap of thinking that as a working dad, I couldn't manage having 50% custody of my two kids. Her guidance on this issue was worth more than any financial issue involved in the divorce. She also was able to deal well with my ex-wife's two attorneys, one of whom was an overzealous, colossal jerk. She was forceful when needed, but was able to work out details with the other side without having to wage an expensive courtroom battle -- especially important in my case, because I would have been forced to pay for my ex-wife's attorneys as well as for Elaine.

Elaine has been my attorney through some pretty major stuff, what started out easy dragged out for 14 yrs and Elaine kicked butt!! I'd never go to anyone else she knows her stuff the law and takes no crap from snybody. This woman and her staff ROCK. Best attorney out there trust and believe. Elaine counceled me on my pending divorce and the advise I recieved from her really helped me understand my position and legal rights. I found her to be very knowledgable on the legal matters and what to expect on the financial side of divorce. I would refer any one to Elaine as she does a great job at a very reasonable price.
