Mr. Cecil is a knowledgeable family law attorney. I have had the pleasure of assiting his firm with serves. I strongly recommend Cecil Cianci Law, PC Creative Family Solutions firm in the Placer County Area.

Beware of this law firm who is attempting to rebrand themselves by simply adding "Creative Family Solutions" to their name. It is nothing more than false advertising. In my experience with one of their associates, Salina Sierra, who represented my ex husband, they are neither "creative" nor in the business to assist the "family." Their firm does not engage in mediation and this attorney actually told her client NOT to engage in co-parenting counseling (clearly not in the best interest of the children). This attorney did nothing but create more conflict (thereby generating more fees for herself) from the outset of the divorce based on how she served me with process, made false representations in order to file a TRO on an emergency basis, failed to appear in court on time on multiple occasions, tried to change legal custody of the children by slipping it into an order after a hearing even though legal custody was never discussed at the hearing, modifying written stipulations after they were signed, and being unable to fill out even basic court forms. She did such a poor job negotiating a financial settlement that my ex-husband had to fire her, hire another lawyer to try to vacate the settlement agreement, and of course pay more money in attorney's fees. If you want to spend all of your money in legal fees just to lose everything, then by all means hire this firm in your divorce.

I ended up switching to a different law firm after my first court hearing. When I went for my first consult Melissa and her para legal made me feel like they actually cared. So I ended up hiring them. At the initial set up the lady made mistakes by filling out my forms so she had to redo it but I still got charged for sitting there while she corrected it. Every time I would call with a question they were never available and made you email them, well emailing them and going back and forth trying to get clarity on one question would cost me so much more money then just then picking up the phone and having a 5 min conversation (this is how they racked up my bill from 5k-10k) it was ridiculous. These people don't care about their clients like they make it seem when you first walk in. During my first court appearance Melissa came totally unprepared and didn't know the details of my case. I was correcting her during court. If I am paying her $450/ hour I expect her to at least know the important details of my case. After the court hearing she told me she would contact me to discuss my case. Haha nope, she emailed me the paperwork that the court send me as well. But I got charged for that "work" as well. Btw I also got charged for her parking fee at the court house. Come on out of 10k you took from me for barely doing any work you could have st leashed waived the $6. Also any time I would call and speak to someone they say they would get back to me. So instead of talking to my attorney, I would get charged for the para legal to talk to me, then discuss the case with my attorney m, then charged for the attorney to discuss the case with the pats legal and then again charged for the para legal to relay the message. Total rip off! Then once i fire them I get a bill about something that I called them right before I fired them but they never got back to me on it. These people are ridiculous and a total rip off who do not care about their clients nor spend time getting to know the case. If you need a good attorney message me. The one I switched to is incredible.

Melissa is professional, hard working, and knows her job very well. When I first went into her office, I was practically shaking (being so nervous about the divorce). She got all of the necessary information from me, and reassured me everything would be okay. In our first meeting, she told me what to expect over the coming months, and gave me a clear idea of the outcome she could achieve for me. Her assessment was dead on. Even with my spouse fighting us at every corner, she was able to meet every expectation she had set for me in our first meeting (what I would be able to keep and the few things I would have to give up). I've never met an attorney I felt I could trust like Melissa. Her entire staff was polite and helpful as well. Divorce can be terrifying. If you're biting your nails over it like I was, I highly recommend giving this law office a look into. Melissa knows the law and knows what she's capable of. She'll be straightforward with you about your situation and what can be accomplished for you. Many lawyers will promise you the world if it makes them a sale, so you're better off finding someone who will give it to you straight.

If I could make this zero stars I would. I called this office and left a message and I received no return call. What horrible customer service!!

Ms. Kristen Sellers from this office is handling my case. I can say my case has been moving pretty fast. She is very experienced and awesome. She takes time to discuss about the case and answers all my questions patiently and calmly and allays my fears. I feel so comfortable and relaxed when I see how she has been taking things forward. I would definitely recommend Ms. Kristen Sellers to anybody.

2 years ago I have retained Melissa Cianci as my attorney on advice of a social worker ,who has worked with Family court in the past. My custody case was extremely difficult and already ongoing for 10 years. My ex was dragging me thru family court every 1-2 years for 10 years trying to gain full custody of our children. Melissa was breath of fresh air in this litigation : she was fast, efficient , competent and no one could represent and win my case better. She has amazing memory, she is very perceptive and careful with my money . She also cares about her clients and their children and truly wants to help.
