So I am still fighting my cases with the help of Danielle but I wanted to do a review for her anyways and will do another one when my cases are resolved as well. I was super happy when I found out that the district attorney had conflict of interest and that the Cohen Law Group had agreed to take on my case and after meeting with Danielle the very first time, even though it was a very brief meeting basically so that she could introduce herself and ask a few quick questions so that she could get an idea about how she should go about fighting my cases, I could tell that she was very passionate about her job and unlike a public defender who in my opinion isnt phased a bit what the outcome is for their client because they are going to get paid either way and with as many cases as they have they dont put as much time or energy into looking into every aspect they possibly could about each clients case as they should because the outcome of each case just doesnt make a difference to them. In my opinion Danielle is different, she cares about her clients and puts her heart into fighting for her clients freedom and actually takes the time to find out every possible detail about their case so that she knows the best way to go about getting the best possible outcome for her clients. She is very non-judgmental and unlike the district attorney, who even though you are supposed to be Innocent until Proven guilty, automatically assumes that because you are in jail for a crime it must mean that you did the crime but Danielle doesn't. Actually. Quite the contrary unless you tell her differently. This is obviously just my opinion but in all honesty if I was given the choice to pick any attorney I want I would want to stick with Danielle. Before I found out that the public defender couldn't represent me I was looking online for a pro bono lawyer because I knew that the public defender didnt care what the outcome of my cases were so finding out that I wasn't going to be represented by them and then meeting Danielle truly made me feel like I had one a prize or something. Almost like winning the lawyer lottery. I dont know what I would have done without her and would more than likely still be in jail right now instead of sitting here writing this review. She's a miracle worker and puts her reputation on the line to help her clients. She definitely put her neck on the line to get me out of jail because neither the District Attorney nor did the Placer County Probation Department feel that I would be a good candidate to be released because they had already given me a chance to be out of jail on Supervised OR and in their opinions I was not doing what they had asked me to do which is why I was back in there after only being out for 6 days so they felt that if released I would continue with the same type of behaviors that got me locked up again so Probation was asking for me to remain in custody. The District Attorney rarely goes against what the Probation Department recommends but I asked Danielle to please do her best to try to get me out because I really wasn't doing well in there and I'm just not the type of person who can handle being in jail. I told her that I would be willing to do whatever it took to get out being either a more strict supervised or where I had curfews and where I could go was way more limited all the way up to doing home confinement if that's what it took. She promised that she would do her best but for me not to get my hopes up because the chances of me getting released that day were very slim and to just be mentally prepared to be in there for at the very least another week. So when I finally got called up to court about 2 hours later I really thought that there was no chance I was getting out so when I heard her say that the DA agreed to release me on home confinement I just couldnt believe it and actually started crying and kept telling her thank you so much. She is one of my heroes and I wont let her down this time. Thank you
