Extremely smart and just the kind of human you want when trouble comes from no where!

I've hired David for several matters. He is professional and an adept practitioner. In one matter I prevailed, and in one I did not win. Law works that way. It's always hard to lose a case but sometimes the law is not in your favor. Was I upset? Yes. I couldn't have had better representation. David did a great job and I would hire him again. And, in addition to being a client, I'm a lawyer. I've passed three bar exams on the first go: Washington, New York, and California. I've practiced since 1997 and I totally trust David in Business law matters.

I retained David Barrett for a trademark infringment case and got nothing but empty promises and zero results! I had to call him on a regular basis just to get updates on my case, which was ultimately lost because he missed a filing deadline. In my opinion there are much better trademark/patent attorneys in Sacramento. His mistake ended up costing me plenty.
