Worst experience I've ever had still waiting on money after a year, case settled 2 months ago but because of their practices I'm going through another lengthy process to receive my money. They settled my case for 25000, charged me 19500 leaving me with 5500 in a tone of pain with no relief and not even enough money to buy a decent car. I will never refer anyone here , I will never use this service again. Ever. They deserve fewer than zero stars. Thief's to say the least.

I was in a car accident last November and ended up picking J&M for my personal injury attorneys. Big mistake. I never met with an attorney nor did I even get to speak with one. I sent in documents that they had requested and then later on was told they didn't have those documents on file. I went weeks without hearing from a case manager about an update and when I did it was like she was doing all she could to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. When they were in the negotiation stages, we had to ask for other ways to try to get the payment higher and I even came up with the idea to write my own statement to the insurance company to try to explain to them about the physical/emotional damage that occurred from the accident. I am not even sure if they actually sent it in like they said they would. This whole process took over one year to settle. At one point they sent me the documents to sign to agree to the settlement amount and when I wasn't responding, they kept texting me asking me if I had looked at the document and signed it. I asked for some time to look it over with my husband and that I would get back to her and she texted she would give me time and then less than a week later, she texted me again. She did this one other time until I signed. I feel like the law firm was just wanting me to sign so that they could close my case and get their money. They weren't concerned about getting me the most for my case/injuries. The only person that was pleasant to work with and who took the time to listen to me was Shannon. I appreciated her hard work, her kindness and her attempt to lower some of the payout for the providers. Other than that, I would NOT recommend this law firm. If I could give half a star or zero, I would.

Update: I sent an email to the Client Advocate for J&M. Dalia reached out to me promptly and I explained my concerns. She assured me she’d have my team get back to me with updates about my case and to keep me informed about any further developments. Thank you Dalia for your prompt response and understanding of my concerns.

Worst people ever pretty much a joke I've had a case going since 2019 and I've yet to hear anything back from them and it's going on 2023 now. What a joke. My case manager basically refuses to call me back. It's like they collected the money & just thought I'd forget about this. Shady group of people. Before my case I would call them and I immediately have someone on the phone now I can barely get someone on the phone it's like they're screening my call or something Every time I call I get blown off. Worst “Attorneys” Ever & being 67 y/o, I have witnessed much BS, however this firm is the worst, I have ever been a part of. Initially, started out great, 6 months into the process: phone calls not returned, our case was continually “transferred to”…(unknown person), the “files have been misplaced and need to be sent Again” (happened 3x), “we cannot locate the insurance company”; “we cannot locate the owner” (defendant); “Do you have any information on the owner”? (defendant). Our Current address (moved locally Once during this time) was repeatedly stated, each & Every time, in any communication & Yet (?) our personal mail was repeatedly mailed (regular usps mail) to our Old address (same entity we are suing!). After 18 months (time allowed to file case is “2 years”), received phone call: “we are dropping your case because we received returned mail from the owner” (defendant)! Everything else in our lives (including Cancer), had to put on hold, while we Scramble to locate & secure a Decent attorney! Nothing short of incomprehensible. In response to this message (below⬇️), this post, from someone at this practice. Yes, there, indeed is a case, as stated in the original post: “We are dropping your case because we received returned mail from the owner” (defendant). Why would we need/want or care to have Anything to do with your practice? This post is Only meant to possibly Prevent another person who would (unknowingly) sign any representation from your law firm. As your office stated “dropping your case”

Jacoby&Meyers is beyond TACKY and DISRESPECTFUL!!! Anthony Williams was an amazing young man that unfortunately was fatally struck by a vehicle in Rocklin, CA on Saturday, March 19th around 8:30 PM PT. Within 36 hours of this young man's passing, Jacoby&Meyers has plastered his death across their home page followed by "No Fees Until We Win." Instead of honoring Anthony with a picture of him in all his greatness, they have a billboard size ad with 5 of their lawyers. Their marketing and social media teams could have done a much better way of marketing and bringing awareness to pedestrian/vehicle accidents. This is just TASTELESS and wildly INAPPROPRIATE. As much as I appreciate your quick response, this is very much so still live on the desktop and mobile platform of your website. Adding another photo with the time stamp.

For a long time I wanted to be an attorney I believed I could save maybe even help change things. Bottom line is attorneys have a job to do in a particular area of their expertise with a exact time frame to do it in. In my experience which has been a lot lately if an attorney tells you "no" ask questions like am I trying to acquire representation in the correct field of law? Though I was disappointed, my experience does not reflect negatively on their abilities, it is only upon myself, my lack of knowledge. My advice if you have a legal issue jump on it because it's easy to get devoured by negativity and lose focus on that issue. Time waits for no one and when it comes to presenting a complaint time passes quickly. Jacoby and Meyers could not take my wrongful death case due to the statue of limitations. Regardless they are still one of the best firms out there, they are extremely professional and understanding I highly recommend them.
