If you're looking for someone that you can depend on; choose Byron Roope. For the first time in years, I will get my license back and I will no longer have to to look over my shoulder on the road. I admire his straight-shooting mentality and the effort for compassion. Byron got me results quick and never made me chase down an update. I was very fortunate to receive his services. Byron handled a situation involving way overzealous police and a very aggressive DA's office, an office which seems to have completely lost sight of the fact that they work for the people, not the police. With a conservative DA's office refusing to recognize the absurdity of the situation and admit a mistake was made, choosing to side with the officers who clearly made a mistake, Byron patiently stuck with us for well over a year working through the process and clear up this mess. Even in the face of a judge, warning us during our day in court, "these kinds of motions are rarely, as in almost never granted", Byron got it done and we got our motion granted and record expunged. I certainly have a more skeptical view of the police and DA's office after this, and one thing we learned for sure, don't roll over and let the system push you around. Get a good attorney like Byron and fight for your rights and freedom.

If your looking for an attorney who will fight for you, then Ben is that attorney. He is professional, persistent, and represents you with a passion you only see from family or friends. I had two DUI's and was pulled over during a DUI checkpoint. I was looking at losing my license for 10 years, losingy job, and everything I had worked so hard for. Ben didn't stop until he had pulled the pas logs, requested all records and saw what was going on. Turns out the machine wasn't calerbrated right, the records were false, and there were just too many discrepancies. Ben then took my case in front of the judge and made these cops and their department look like a joke. The cops were so upset, they tried lying on the stand but the judge saw right through them. I was the only one represented by Ben that day, and I was the only one to win my case, 5 cases heard before mine, all found guilty. I will forever be thankful for Ben's help, and will forever consider him family. Leslie is AMAZING!! I was embarrassed of my DUI and she reassured me she would take my criminal defense serious. She was dedicated, worked hard, and communicated with me the entire step of the way. She walked me through the paperwork which shows that she cared and wasn't there to just take my "money and run". I know she can help with any sort of criminal defense like my DUI, drugs, violent crimes, and so forth!

As many others have stated, when one is in legal trouble - one needs a friendly attorney, someone with a sympathetic ear and yet a firm grasp of the laws as well the courtroom. I contacted Mr. Roope late on a Thursday night. I suspected I would have to leave message, and was surprised when he answered the phone. We talked about my situation and how the DUI I received would probably cause me I lose my job. He explained everything in a way that made it very easy to understand and let me know how he could help. His flat fee for his service was very fair. As the process went on he was able to get the case reduced, save my license, and save my job. I cannot thank him enough and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Byron is a fantastic lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone in the area. I had a failure to appear for driving on suspended license that was a few years old and I needed to have it taken care of to get my license reinstated.
