Though this may be a long review, it is worth the read for anyone looking to hire Hundal for representation. You should absolutely use discretion, proceed with caution, and explore other options unless you are prepared to spend $200 for a defeatist approach to your case. Must be nice to treat people with real life concerns like a game of monopoly and collect $200 just to turn around and disappear. I talked to Jas personally, and learned early on in the conversation that he used to work for the law firm that represents my ex wife. I explained that I am perfectly fine with that fact as long as it does not present a conflict of interest for him. Although he never stated whether this fact would conflict with his ability to represent me, the mood of the conversation quickly changed. I expressed my desire to fight for the best outcome, which I would think is consistent with anyone in my position, but I also explained that I understand no outcome is guaranteed. Ultimately I just wanted him to put his best foot forward and make the effort to work for the best possible outcome, within reason. He began to speak to me as if I should expect the worst, and made it very clear that he wanted this to be an open ended, long, drawn out process which very obviously means more money in his pocket. It became very evident that he is not a fighter, but pessimistic money grabber that does not inspire any confidence in his clients. Even with all of this, I let him know once again that my situation is very time sensitive and due to the process of securing representation being stressful, I would still like to use him so that I have SOMETHING instead of NOTHING as we approach my day in court. He committed to a follow up “free” 15 minute consultation for the following day to discuss minor details and what the process would look like going forward. This consultation never occurred, I spent my morning making phone calls to his office, personal phone, sending messages and emails trying to follow up, but was left in the dark, out $200, wondering why I’ve been charged for absolutely nothing in return. Although others may have received a different experience with Jas/Hundal, I personally see this as a very blatant scam. I’m very disappointed and I have no words for the lack of consideration and communication. Disgusting. But hey, who am I?…

Discharged! 🎉 I spent 2 years working with another attorney and a was misguided, ill-informed and frankly, scared the entire time. Then, I found Amberg Harvey. Tom was a godsend! He made the process so incredibly simple and straightforward. He was available (didn’t have to be shuffled through 17 assistants to get to him) patient, answered every question clear and concisely, and make sure I was 100% comfortably with the process. The thing that I am most grateful for is his balanced approach - it’s clear that he truly understands the vulnerability that come with the decision of filing but that’s met with a calm that speaks volumes about his knowledge of the process and the outcome. Tom is amazing he was extreamely patient and answered all of our questions explaining everything very thorough. He was always available via email text or phone call. Going through a bankruptcy is never something anyone wants to go thru but he made it as easy and us as comfortable with it as possible.
